Ye Fei sent Long Heng, Jun Mo, Big Dog, and Little Phoenix outside for a snowball fight while he prepared the tiger meat. As they played, Jun Mo teased Long Heng for acting like Eclipse Moon, and Ye Fei listened to their noise from the house.
The fourth-month disaster resurrected slain players as memoryless killers, and Ye Fei warned Lin Mu and Lin Xian that the area around his home could be especially dangerous. He sent Little Phoenix to bring Long Heng to safety, leaving Lin Mu to prepare for battle.
Little Phoenix brought Long Heng back to Ye Fei’s courtyard, where his arrival sparked a scuffle before the group noticed that the wolf packs from the early days had revived outside. Ye Fei stayed within the courtyard while Big Dog, Lin Mu, and Lin Xian fought the wolves, and the chapter left them clearing the attackers for rewards.
Ye Fei and the others dealt with a wave of revived wolves and learned that all kinds of creatures slain in the past might be returning. When Ye Fei tested where the revivals appeared, he spotted the phantom of He Min targeting Lin Xian and prepared to find out why.
He Min resurrected with his hatred of Lin Xian intact and tried to kill him, but Lin Xian and the others stopped him while fending off mutated beasts. Lin Mu revealed how little he cared about the Lin Family and said he was waiting for a reason to destroy it.
Lin Xian and Ye Fei dealt with the naturally spawning Mutation Beasts and discussed how quickly clearing the Resurrected could bring worse threats. The chapter ended with Long Heng suppressing his dragon qi so it would not resurrect an Adult Giant Dragon near Phoenix Perch.
Ye Fei and the others rested while discussing the strange attacks and checking in with their allies, then prepared to face a new wave of monsters. Little Phoenix cleared the beasts in minutes, and the chapter ended with Long Heng demanding phoenix meat and Little Phoenix considering trying other Phoenix Birds.
Feng An awoke to find a swarm of powerful seafood attacking Ye Fei’s home, then revealed that a Nether Phoenix named Mingyao had secretly caused the local disaster. Ye Fei focused on identifying Mingyao while Feng An prepared to deal with the attackers, leaving the group poised to confront the hidden enemy.
Feng An unleashed a storm on Snow Mountain, killing the resurrected disaster monsters while keeping Ye Fei’s home safe. Mingyao arrived with the Mirror of Judgment to condemn Feng An, but its light revealed no violation, leaving Mingyao horrified and Feng An pleased.
Feng An exposed Mingyao's violation of the disaster rules, triggering heavenly punishment that destroyed Mingyao's divine soul. Feng An then brought the exhausted Ye Fei back to bed, while Lin Mu began to accept that Ye Fei had a god protecting him.
Ye Fei woke to find Lin Mu and Lin Xian testing Little Dragon Person’s defenses, only for the child to retaliate with water and lightning. A beautiful Elf Goddess appeared, warned Ye Fei about trusting the Wind God, and left him wondering what Feng An was hiding as the Disaster Phase continued.
Feng An and Long Heng discussed how Ye Fei’s luck had helped bring about Mingyao’s death and why the Elf Queen had come to see him. Feng An warned that she might be interested in Ye Fei’s Phoenix Perch, and the chapter ended with the Ant Queen appearing outside his home.
Ye Fei faced the Ant King again and tested his lightning attacks while Phoenix Perch trapped it. Lin Mu learned the Ant Queen’s true appearance, and the battle continued as he and the others fought the Ant Half-Demons.
After Feng An took Long Heng away to play, Ye Fei and Lin Mu discussed the sudden departure while resting after their battle. Lin Xian decided he wanted a fluffy pet, but postponed buying one until he could afford to care for it well.
After the disaster ended, Ye Fei and the others discussed why few resurrected players had appeared and debated reports of resurrected mutation beasts and links between disasters. Jun Mo arrived hoping to speak with Long Heng, but Lin Mu’s teasing claim that Long Heng was gone left him looking heartbroken.
After the disaster ended, Lin Mu planned to return to the Lin Family while Jun Mo briefed Ye Fei on player organizations and their possible future development. The chapter ended with Ye Fei considering whether regions might merge or players might migrate as the world recognized newly established organizations.
Little Jiaoren struggled to control water after eating Water Spirit, while Ye Fei helped Jun Mo understand how to practice blocking its attacks. Little Phoenix woke after several days asleep and, seeing the abundance of dried food, mistakenly thought Ye Fei was struggling to feed them.
Ye Fei fed the little ones while Little Phoenix and Little Fox planned a nighttime hunt for more meat. While Ye Fei picked ripe grapes and joked with Phoenix Perch, Feng An and Long Heng returned and found the tree chasing and hitting him; the chapter ended with Phoenix Perch attacking all three with fireballs.
Feng An poured three cups of Life Tree Sap beneath Ye Fei’s Phoenix Tree, and Phoenix Perch absorbed the energy as it evolved. It gained a faint life attribute, while Ye Fei wondered whether its branches could heal him; Phoenix Perch answered by hurling fireballs at him.
Ye Fei discovered that the Serpent Scale binding Long Heng was a powerful Wind God inheritance that Long Heng could choose to accept or remove. Long Heng decided to keep it, while Feng An warned him to behave and Little Phoenix tried to stop him from accepting Feng An as his father.
Ye Fei learned that the Spirit Fox chasing the little ones was a player who had deliberately played along with their illusions. The fox asked to stay at Ye Fei’s home as a pet, leaving him bewildered by the request.
Ye Fei considered the risks of taking Fire Fox in as a pet, but the fox insisted it was safe and described how badly it had struggled to survive alone. With Qingxue and the others welcoming it, Ye Fei agreed to keep it, and Fire Fox asked him to give it a name.
Ye Fei named the newly tamed Fire Fox Feimeng and watched it settle in with his companions. Feng An offered to establish a Sect for Ye Fei in exchange for him crafting Long Heng a headband, while Feimeng ended the chapter struggling to resist the food at the dining table.
Ye Fei hosted a midnight meal for his little companions and guests, where Feimeng delighted in the food and shared how a mother wolf had once saved the fox's life. The meal ended with Feng An promising to send Long Heng a live snake, while Ye Fei served vegetables from his Spirit Field.
Ye Fei and Feng An established the player faction Free and Unrestrained Mountain, and Ye Fei began inviting friends to join. As Feng An dealt with messages from powerful players, Ye Fei configured the faction and set unusual daily quests.
