"If other players discover you, you'll be hunted down..."
Ye Fei sighed and raised the most troublesome issue at present with the little fox before him.
Beast Race players had their own rules, too. Human Race players did not have that option, but many races did indeed have some opportunities to choose.
But regardless of race, there was a path of cultivation that allowed them to take human form. Back when Long Heng was still on the Deserted Island, he had told Ye Fei about this during their chats.
And being nonhuman was a prerequisite for choosing to give up one's player status and become a player's household pet.
At the time, Long Heng had even complained that humans were favored by this world, which was why they were not given that choice.
But later, Ye Fei had seen someone mention in the Chat Channel that Human Race players, or players who had taken human form, could not become pets, but they could become slaves...
But whether pets or slaves, they would all be subject to restrictions. Those who willingly became slaves would sometimes be hunted down by their own kind.
This probably counted as a way of protecting their own race, preventing some of their kind from being captured and made into pets or slaves...
"It's fine. I've checked this area, and not a single one of them can put up a fight. My future owner, don't worry. I don't eat much. All I need is a den to sleep in, a Spirit Herb Field where I can roll around now and then, and some fruit after meals. I'm very easy to keep. I can even teach them to cultivate. They all look exceptionally talented, but without a good cultivation method, they won't be able to grow quickly..."
