Futu Yijing was stunned when he heard the Heavenly Emperor's words.

He had originally planned to break through to Heavenly Sovereign at the place where the Dragon Phoenix had fallen, but he had never expected the Heavenly Emperor to be ready to help him break through now.

Plans could never keep pace with change. Since he could break through to Heavenly Sovereign here, then he would!

Who would complain about becoming stronger sooner? There were no side effects, after all.

The Heavenly Emperor swept his sleeve, and the surrounding space twisted. By the time Futu Yijing reacted, he was already above a vast river. Its waters churned below with a rolling roar, while Spirit Mist rose from it, so dense it seemed almost tangible.

Since Mu Chen had successfully cultivated the Immortal Golden Body, the Heavenly Emperor also held him in high regard.

Were it not for Futu Yijing, both the Heavenly Emperor's True Spirit Empowerment and One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones would have gone to Mu Chen.

As one of the ancient Nine Emperors, the Heavenly Emperor could tell at a glance that this young man was blessed with considerable fortune and was no ordinary person.

Yet Futu Yijing had earned even greater favor from the Heavenly Emperor. Perhaps Mu Chen would make the same choices once he reached Futu Yijing's level, but until that happened, it was all mere conjecture.

Futu Yijing's actions, however, were already a concrete reality.

"Thank you, Heavenly Emperor." Delight appeared on Mu Chen's and Nine Nether's faces. Cultivating here could accelerate their progress, allowing them to break through to Earthly Sovereign sooner. The benefits of cultivating in such a treasure land went without saying.

"As for you, Mandala, you have already reached Complete Earthly Sovereign, so this place will not be of much use to you. You may go and look around the Scripture Pavilion," the Heavenly Emperor told Mandala.

Mandala merely shook her head gently. The Heavenly Emperor before her was the last Spirit Shadow he had left in this world. Once he dissipated, he would vanish from the world completely. All she wanted now was to stay by his side.

"Ah, you foolish child."

Seeing Mandala's expression, the Heavenly Emperor sighed softly. He had raised her for many years and regarded her as his own daughter. Their bond was naturally profound; otherwise, he would never have forcibly sealed her away back then to spare her from the great calamity.

After comforting Mandala, the Heavenly Emperor turned his gaze back to Futu Yijing and said solemnly, "Let us begin."

This Spirit Shadow of his had limited time left, so he could not afford to waste even a moment.

Futu Yijing nodded.

The Heavenly Emperor stood before Futu Yijing with a solemn expression. He held two fingers together, then suddenly thrust them forward. Endless spiritual light flickered over them, as though brimming with spirit and vibrant life.

Hiss!

Those fingers seemed to ignore the distance between them entirely, piercing through the void before lightly touching the space between Futu Yijing's brows.

Spiritual light instantly spread from between Futu Yijing's brows, enveloping his entire body in the blink of an eye. That crystalline point of light seemed to pierce his forehead and penetrate his mind.

An ocean's worth of information poured frantically into his mind.

To endure such an immense flood of information, Futu Yijing's brain had to work beyond its limits. Even so, his body did not tremble in the slightest.

As the vast torrent of information flooded his mind, spiritual light suddenly gathered in its depths, and ancient characters quietly took shape within it.

"One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones!"

The characters of spiritual light formed and dispersed. Then an incomparably profound cultivation formula flowed through his mind, carrying a wealth of the Heavenly Emperor's experiences and insights from practicing it.

Futu Yijing's consciousness immediately sank into those wondrous insights, seemingly oblivious to the passage of time. In that fleeting span, it felt as though only an instant had passed, yet also as though countless years had gone by.

The Heavenly Emperor watched Futu Yijing, reluctant to interrupt his contemplation. Yet this Spirit Body of his had little time remaining, and he still needed to help Futu Yijing break through to Heavenly Sovereign.

"There is little time left. This is not the best moment for you to cultivate One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones. Do not expend your mental energy on it for now."

A resonant voice rang out in Futu Yijing's mind, directly calling his consciousness back. His eyes slowly opened, though profound mysteries still flowed within them.

The Heavenly Emperor was startled by the sight. This junior had already absorbed his insights and experiences.

"Senior, please begin."

The Heavenly Emperor nodded at his words.

With both hands, he slowly raised the ancient, crystal-like Heavenly Emperor Sword. His eyes were filled with affection. This sword had accompanied him throughout his life, witnessing his rise from a nameless man to the renowned Heavenly Emperor of the Great Thousand World.

"Old friend, I hope you will help me along this final stretch of the road," the Heavenly Emperor said softly.

Hum.

The Heavenly Emperor Sword possessed a spirit of its own, and it gave a clear, ringing cry. Endless sword light surged across its blade, but it was exceedingly gentle, no longer bearing its earlier sharp, murderous edge.

The Heavenly Emperor smiled faintly and raised his hand. The Heavenly Emperor Sword soared into the sky, then transformed into a colossal pillar of light that spanned ten thousand miles between heaven and earth. Within it lay terrifying power.

The Heavenly Emperor crooked a finger, and the endless radiance within the pillar poured down like mercury spilling across the ground, flooding the sky and earth before enveloping Futu Yijing.

The endless light contained tremendously vast power. The instant it touched Futu Yijing's body, it seeped into every opening like spilled mercury. As that boundless power flooded into him, it also stirred his own spiritual energy, and a mighty surge erupted from his body.

Futu Yijing's physical body was so formidable that this power could not harm him at all. His already shattered battle armor, however, exploded apart with a thunderous crash.

The scar left by the Heaven-Slaying Demon Emperor's blade was revealed as well, stretching across the left half of Futu Yijing's body like a centipede.

The strength of Futu Yijing's body exceeded the Heavenly Emperor's imagination, so channeling the Heavenly Emperor Sword's power to help him break through went remarkably smoothly.

As he channeled the Heavenly Emperor Sword's power, the Heavenly Emperor discovered that Futu Yijing's Supreme Sea had already reached its fullest capacity.

Just then, Futu Yijing spoke in a voice only the Heavenly Emperor could hear.

"Senior, if you were to vanish completely like this, would you not find it far too regrettable?"

The Heavenly Emperor was taken aback, then a smile of acceptance appeared on his face.

"With all of you here in the Great Thousand World, what regrets could I still have?"

"Senior, I have already broken through the wall barring the way to Heavenly Sovereign. Next, please help me accomplish something." While the Heavenly Emperor was assisting him, Futu Yijing had discovered that a wisp of soul actually remained within this Spirit Body.

A bold idea suddenly came to him!
