Beneath the enormous transparent, eggshell-shaped glass dome, the Inhuman city glittered as brightly as ever. Its gleaming metal walls bore none of the ruinous decay Deathstroke had seen when he first arrived.
Black-and-yellow armor served as a pass. The guards at the entrance to the defensive energy shield did not try to stop Deathstroke. Instead, they politely saluted and welcomed him into the lunar city.
Carol looked around with wide-eyed curiosity. The people here looked human, yet all of them differed from humans in one way or another—pointed ears, scaled skin, and so on. It was a strange feeling.
"You can take off the canister now. Attilan's oxygen systems can sustain humans."
Seeing that she was still holding The Mustache between her teeth even after entering the energy shield, Su Ming pointed at her mouth. He was here to discuss defense matters with someone; the person accompanying him could not look like she was making faces.
Carol reached up, removed the Bat-Gas Canister, then walked over and asked quietly, "Where is this place? How did I not know there was a city on the moon?"
"This is Attilan. The Inhumans live here, and it is also a dark chapter in the Kree Empire's history, so naturally you wouldn't find any record of it in the Kree archives." Su Ming pointed at the roadside stalls, where familiar human goods were displayed. "Attilan used to be stationed above Earth's oceans. It only came to the moon a few years ago."
