The castle was still the same castle. Not much time had passed since their last visit, so naturally, little had changed.

Although nearly ten heroes now stood in the Throne Room, it still felt empty. Along both sides of the long red carpet, people had formed small groups according to their preferences.

Bobo, Monark, Zatanna, Harley, and Dex-Starr were drinking and reading. Monark had placed that massive book on the floor and sat cross-legged beside it, sniffling as he explained it to the others. Aside from the gorilla, who seemed thoughtful, no one else could understand what he was saying.

As for Cyborg's group, it was still the same crowd that had returned from space. They were quiet—so quiet that the atmosphere was downright stiff.

Blackfire and Starfire glared at each other with mutual hatred, while Jessica stared across the carpet at Dex-Starr. Cyborg projected a whole array of technological displays before himself, trying to catch up on everything he had missed while away from Earth.

As the doors were pushed open, the Amazon guards outside welcomed their queen. Diana entered first, her expression grave.

Barry and Deathstroke followed behind her, with Mazikeen stepping out of the Teleportation Portal behind them. Deadpool arrived a little later using the Teleportation Belt.

"All right, put the magic lesson on hold. Deathstroke is back." Bobo put away his bottle and skipped toward the group entering the room. "Is everything all right?"

Diana had already replaced Vulcan's Sword at her waist with Nightblade. She nodded. "More or less. Madame Xanadu gave us a prophecy. Circe really is on our opposite side."
