"If you still don't believe me, I can use the 'big one' to perform the 'bat sculpture' again, but I think this should be enough. Any more than that might have an adverse effect on the movie rating."

In the darkness, Cheap Batman said this to Starman in a serious tone, yet one hand was still holding up his belt, looking eager to immediately prove himself further.

Starman hurriedly refused. The Batwoman from the Parallel World had already proven his identity and even produced irrefutable evidence. There was no need for any "stronger" proof.

This place was shabby and had been looted, but it was still a beautiful place from his memories. Letting that foul-smelling Batwoman urinate here was bad enough; anything further was out of the question.

"No need. I believe you."

Starman hurriedly shook his head and refused. At the same time, he put away the Cosmic Staff, gritted his teeth, squeezed his eyes shut, grabbed the other man's arm, and dragged him back beside the bar.

"Really? I can prove myself," Cheap Batwoman said in a particularly sleazy tone, his eyes beneath the mask narrowed into slits.

"You really don't have to. Here, your ear fell off." Starman picked up one of the other man's sticky newspaper ears from the floor near the bar and handed it back.

The other man took it and casually stuck it onto his head, leaving one pointed ear facing forward and the other backward.

Beneath that ridiculous appearance, he discussed a very serious topic. "The place I want to tell you about is called Sepulk. It used to be the center of the Spectre Universe, and then Darkseid—"

Cheap Batman explained its origins, with plenty of nonsense and imagined details mixed in, but Starman more or less understood what had happened.
