After gaining the Venom Symbiote, Deadpool felt like he was back in top form. He made a Feigned Retreat and prepared to battle Inez and the others for several hundred more rounds.
But something strange happened. He knocked on the door for ages, yet no one answered. He stuffed the Symbiote through the crack beneath the door to take a look, only for it to say that nobody was inside.
"Could the two women I rolled around in bed with earlier have been female ghosts?" Wade leaned against the stair railing and narrowed his eyes in analysis. "That can't be right. When I licked their ears while we were getting intimate, their earwax tasted just like a living person's, didn't it?"
