While Deadpool was admiring paintings in the dream gallery, Deathstroke and Monark found themselves in an environment resembling Silent Hill's Otherworld. The decaying, dust-filled corridor was packed with all manner of deformed plush toys.
As Monark prepared a spell to determine the direction of Deadpool's soul, he complained helplessly.
Deathstroke was more than capable of dealing with a few dream monsters, but these creatures clogged the entire tunnel, packed so tightly there was barely any room to move.
A pink teddy bear, torn and tattered all over, was covered in uneven patches of filth that had clumped parts of its fur into dirty dreadlocks. Yet it wore an enormous triangular iron helmet and dragged a massive cleaver as it charged Deathstroke.
Deathstroke cut it down with a single stroke, effortlessly. But after it fell, it transformed into the image of a little girl who had died with her eyes wide open. The change was so abrupt, as if it had been an ordinary child all along.
"Looks like someone intends to mess with my mind, but he clearly doesn't understand me well enough. I'm not a Superhero. Killing people doesn't count as a test."
Su Ming had no intention of stopping or hesitating. He simply stood calmly in front of the Mage, using Strangle's tentacles and his Nightfall Greatsword to wipe out the tide of enemies.
Aside from transforming after death, these malformed plush toys made baby-like noises. They raced through the decaying corridor on all fours, saliva flying from their mouths as they looked ravenous.
But it did not matter. Even if they were real people, Su Ming would kill them without hesitation, let alone hallucinations created by dream
