Diana knocked out more than a dozen slave traders, smacking them with her shield and hammering them with her sword hilt, forcing herself not to kill them.
Taking advantage of the chaos Deadpool and Captain Marvel had created in the crowd, she released the captured humans from the huge golden cage. But since she was still carrying a pair of large white wings on her back, the people inside were too frightened to speak.
"Go! Get out of here!"
She stepped aside from the cage entrance and gave a very concise command.
"But, ma'am, where can we go? We don't even know where we are."
The captured slaves were all young, handsome men and beautiful women. After all, those who were old and faded had long since been killed; they had no value worth abducting. Young people were relatively braver.
No one knew why this black-haired "angel" was releasing them, but the fact was that they had nowhere to run.
"Uh, Adjutant, are you there?"
Diana hesitated. She did not actually know which way to point these people, since rescuing them had been a spur-of-the-moment decision. Deathstroke's plan had not mentioned this at all, so she could only ask Adjutant for help.
"I am. You are carrying Tenth Metal, so I can communicate with you through the resonance of the Force of Connection, though we cannot make a video call." Doll's voice sounded in her ear, still light and airy, as though it lingered among the clouds.
"Can you take away the people I rescued?" Diana did not want to understand the principles of long-distance communication, because there was simply no need. All she wanted was to save people. "I should have the authority to mobilize some of Sepulk's equipment, right?"
