Just as Su Ming was reflecting on his affinity with darkness, the black Celestials seemed to have recovered from the mental shock Wade had brought them.

Fortunately, Celestials did not actually have digestive systems, so he could not really throw up anything.

Having only just been resurrected and immediately confronted with such a shocking new era, it was only natural that he stared blankly.

His pitch-black face bore glowing white grilles that served as his eyes. Unlike the Colored Celestials, the patterns on his body appeared brighter, perhaps due to the contrasting colors.

Black and white—nice. He stood out like a fluorescent tube in the night, and that white was so pure that it looked faintly blue to the human eye.

"Hello. Hey, over here."

Su Ming took the initiative to speak to the Celestial and waved a few times. White sand was falling from the seams in the Celestial's shell, scattering through the air like gauze when the wind caught it.

The Celestial lowered his hands from his head. His cylindrical head turned along with his upper body as he looked toward the people flying nearby.

When he saw Deathstroke, he paused to think, apparently recognizing the armor. Then his voice rang out.

"Hello. So it is the human Deathstroke. I saw you during the first cycle. Did you save me?"

Although Deadpool had apparently done something not long ago that caused all the other dark Celestials to explode, Deathstroke did not feel guilty in the slightest. He patted his chest.

"That's right, I saved you. Unfortunately, your kin are all dead. The Colored Celestials did it. All I could do was kill them for you. By the way, you said you saw me, but I didn't see you near the First Firmament back then."
