Wade was going to earn Batwoman's pocket change. Besides, Cousin needed him to serve as a messenger, so making one trip and earning money from two people was naturally even better.
It was like A'Du driving a taxi: picking up two passengers headed in the same direction on one trip and charging them both. The same worked for a mercenary. Of course, it would be even better if he could get hold of some loot and sell it after getting home.
So while he rummaged through the Batcave for anything valuable, only Diana and Batwoman were left to handle the serious business.
"What exactly is going on with this world?" Wonder Woman had left the Hall of Justice in pursuit of the truth. She had wanted to go to Deathstroke's side as well, but she was worried that Batwoman would lack combat support, so she could only switch places with Bobo.
Logically speaking, when someone came to help of their own accord, the person receiving that help should be grateful, right?
But Batwoman was not. After Wonder Woman arrived at the Batcave with Deadpool, the Dark Knight merely glanced at her, said nothing afterward, and worked alone at the computer terminal.
It was as though her presence made no difference at all. In the end, Little Dai could not hold back any longer. She took the initiative to ask, hoping for some answers.
"I don't know."
Batwoman was not an honest person, but the answers she gave could always shut people up. With just that one sentence, every plan Wonder Woman had for what to say next fell apart.
If the Justice League did not frown upon infighting, Diana sometimes truly wanted to bash Batman over the head with her shield and see what exactly was going on beneath his
