"Does this never end? Are their numbers infinite?"
Diana once again cleaved several little Red-haired Monkeys in front of her in two. Their bodies dissolved into wisps of purple smoke, but even more furry monkeys immediately charged up from the rear. She could only spare a moment to shout into the large pit behind her:
"Batman! How much longer do you need?!"
It was a question destined to go unanswered. Batman would not reply, and she knew he would not, but as long as it served to hurry him along, that was enough.
"Bat-person?"
Edmund hid behind the two of them. He had not forgotten to collect the blueprints from the workbench and his own journal. When he heard the name "Batman," his eyes lit up.
"Is he like I imagined? A man who looks like a Vampire, so he is called Bat-person? I have traveled around the world and explored all sorts of places, but this is my first time seeing something so supernatural. I am very excited!"
"Yeah, more or less. This Bat-person feeds on the dark souls of others. He is terrifying."
Deadpool, standing beside Wonder Woman, had been bitten to shreds all over, yet he remained in high spirits. He could still chat and crack jokes while fending off the monster horde.
"For example, if you wipe your ass and do not wash your hands afterward, that is a dark act. Bat-person will set his sights on you from the shadows, then leap out and snap all four of your limbs, beat you into high-level paralysis, and teach you his rules. In his city, you have to play by his rules."
"Sounds like Indian people should be more afraid of him."
Before the bastard could finish his joke, Edmund picked up the thread. The Mustache nodded
