The knockoff Batcave was as dim as the original, even duplicating the sound of the flowing underground river below. But Su Ming, who had been looking for differences all along, still found one: there were no bats hanging upside down from the ceiling here.
The stalactites and stalagmites common in limestone caves were fake too, probably molded from foam plastic or resin. Perhaps sewers were unsuitable for bats, or perhaps the Fifth Dimension simply had no such animals as bats.
"You can rest here for a while. I've already told you everything I could think of. As for how to reach the Seventh Dimension, I'll think about that too, but I'm afraid it isn't something we can figure out in a short time."
After saying so much, Bat-Mite seemed a little thirsty. He walked over to his bat refrigerator, took out a six-pack of beer, grabbed a can for himself, and gestured for everyone else to help themselves.
The real Batcave had a refrigerator too. Batwoman used it to stock emergency supplies and, incidentally, keep the captured Talon assassins chilled.
Also, Batwoman never touched alcohol. Only Bruce Wayne drank and smoked, so Bat-Mite only selectively imitated his idol rather than copying everything wholesale.
Apparently, he clearly understood that he could never be Batwoman. Life still had to go on.
Looking around the knockoff Batcave again, Su Ming noticed that many things had been modified to make it more livable. For example, Bat-Mite's little chair even had a bat-shaped cushion on it, something Batwoman would absolutely never sit on.
"Really? I don't believe it." Deadpool put on a Lu Xun face to express his disagreement, but his hand was anything but slow as he grabbed two cans of beer and passed one to Cousin. Turning his head, he said, "Brother, you've
