"So Deathstroke moved Multiverse 1 inside the 40K Universe, creating this deformed cosmic structure we have now. That was part of his calculations too, right?"
Lucifer watched the interwoven scenery of light and darkness for a while longer, then lowered his head and asked Little Rich.
Precisely because Multiverse 1 was important, it now seemed to have become the 40K Universe's protective talisman. The Void, the Source, God, and even Lucifer himself had all acted because they were within it, inevitably confronting CAAT.
If Multiverse 1 had not been moved here, then the 40K Universe would likely have had to fight the enemy on its own and would have lost a great deal of support.
"It should have been part of his plan, but this is actually mutual assistance." Little Rich raised his head, his watermelon-rind hairstyle perfectly undisturbed. "If Multiverse 1 had been attacked first, wouldn't you have lost our support too if you hadn't moved?"
Little Rich actually knew quite a bit about Uncle Slade. After all, anyone capable of pulling him out of the Cancerverse and escaping safely from beneath the eyes of countless Old Ones must have possessed power beyond that of gods long ago.
At the same time, he did not think the 40K Universe's side lacked combat power. Just his and Wanda's presence alone was enough to accomplish many things.
"Hehe, that's true. So this benefits both sides. That really has the flavor of Deathstroke's plans—you know he's plotting something, but once you think it through, you can't raise any objections, because the choice he made was correct."
Whether the 40K Universe had taken the blow for Multiverse 1, or whether their relationship should be viewed the other way around, was no longer important. What mattered was that everyone now shared the same position
