Su Ming defeated Perpetua, then entered the LEGO Harry Potter world and negotiated a place at Hogwarts as Professor Wilson. He guided Hermione Granger into Ravenclaw and began his physical education course, leaving her to face its first class at the Black Lake.

• Su Ming and Thought Robot defeated Perpetua, and Su Ming assigned her remains to Strangle and Cloak while Deathstroke freed the captured Legion of Doom members.
• Su Ming left Wade to keep the Monitor brothers occupied and visited Diana before traveling to the LEGO universe to seek Dumbledore and propose a deal.
• Su Ming secured a Hogwarts teaching position by proposing physical education, opened Wilson Automatic Wands, and later took Hermione and her parents to Diagon Alley for supplies.
• Su Ming encouraged Hermione to aim for Ravenclaw, while Ollivander taught her beginner Occlumency and Su Ming trained her with a shooting challenge that won her Crookshanks.
• On the Hogwarts Express, Hermione helped Neville find Trevor and learned the Summoning Charm, then joined the first-years at the Sorting Ceremony.
• Hermione used Occlumency to persuade the Sorting Hat to place her in Ravenclaw, while Harry joined Gryffindor and Dumbledore announced Su Ming’s required physical education course.

After Christmas plans shifted toward finding more Horcruxes, Hermione helped defeat the Basilisk and set out to see a real dragon.

• Su Ming trained Hermione in survival and ranged weapons, and she built friendships with Hannah and Susan while learning that Quirrell might be pursuing Nicolas Flamel’s treasure.
• Hermione, Hannah, and Susan followed the clues to the fourth-floor corridor, passed the protections beneath the trapdoor, and found Quirrell at the mirror.
• Hermione shot Quirrell and Voldemort, then recovered a ring that Professor Wilson identified as the Resurrection Stone, and Dumbledore had the girls swear to keep Voldemort’s return secret.
• Dumbledore awarded Hermione points for recovering the Diadem, while Su Ming revealed that Voldemort had made seven Horcruxes and took Hermione into the Room of Requirement.
• Su Ming trained Hermione, Hannah, and Susan to face a Basilisk, then opened the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets.

Su Ming and Grindelwald engineered a crisis in the American wizarding world to obtain Serpent Tree leaves, while Hermione uncovered and destroyed Tom Riddle’s diary with help from Luna and the professors. The arc ended with Su Ming taking Hermione to Paris to begin an exchange semester at Beauxbatons.

• Hermione spent the summer restless until she found a way to practice at the Automatic Wand Shop, while Su Ming and Snape traveled to Ilvermorny and met Principal Fontana.
• Su Ming freed Grindelwald from Nurmengard and persuaded him to help resurrect Ariana and obtain Serpent Tree leaves by provoking American wizards into seeking Dumbledore’s help.
• Grindelwald attacked landmarks and the Magical Congress across the United States, while Su Ming helped intensify the crisis and Fudge secretly delivered the leaves.
• Hermione met Luna, who deduced the Chamber of Secrets’ location and helped bring Ginny’s diary to McGonagall and Flitwick, who identified it as a Horcrux.
• Su Ming destroyed the diary with Godslayer, and Snape burned its remains with Fiendfyre, while Molly’s Howler reassured Ginny and scolded her brothers.
• Su Ming revealed to Lucius that the diary was a Horcrux and had been destroyed, then gave him a life-extending serum in exchange for his continued service.

After a Death Eater attack at the Quidditch World Cup, Hermione organized the defense, and Dumbledore announced a ten-school tournament as the story turned toward Harry and Draco.

• Su Ming enrolled Hermione at Beauxbatons and arranged for her to study at several magical schools, giving her a Time-Turner and the Miracle Serum to manage the workload.
• Su Ming, Hermione, and Sirius found Regulus’s body in Voldemort’s sea cave, and Kreacher revealed how Regulus had replaced Voldemort’s locket and ordered him to destroy the real Horcrux.
• Su Ming gave Sirius Regulus’s letter and asked to borrow Harry for a plan involving Voldemort’s use of Harry’s blood, while Sirius took time to consult Dumbledore and Lupin.
