Su Ming pursued Hecate across Hell and Shangri-La, trying to rescue Diana and find a way to counter Hecate’s assault on magic. He prepared the Pillars of Magic as a trap and waited with Zatanna as Hecate arrived, newly empowered by Dawn and Black Orchid.

• Su Ming rescued Mazikeen from the angels attacking Lucifer’s palace, freed her from her oath, and returned to Oblivion Bar, where he learned that Hecate had held Dawn and Black Orchid inside her.
• Su Ming traced Diana’s trail from Circe’s cave to Shangri-La, where Hecate fought Rama Kushna and a controlled Diana hunted Constantine, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, and Deadman.
• Su Ming and Barry subdued Diana by luring her high into the sky and disorienting her, then Barry took her to the Hall of Justice while Albera sent dying Constantine to Hell for demon blood.
• Su Ming consulted Ancient One about how to enlist the Upside-Down Man against Hecate, then returned to Shangri-La and fought the Raven Reaper while Barry dismantled the structures supporting it.
• Su Ming led the group toward the Pillars of Magic at ruined Olympus, sent Athena to Antarctica, and learned that the buried magic circle could not be moved because it bore the world’s magical barrier.
• Su Ming installed Batwoman’s illusion system around the circle and planned to use Zatanna’s Backward Magic to release the Upside-Down Man when Hecate believed she had won.
• Su Ming had Barry create a horrific projection to frighten the Upside-Down Man, then sent Bobo and the others to hide as he and Zatanna waited by the array.
• Hecate arrived after reclaiming power from Dawn and Black Orchid, and she faced Su Ming and Zatanna above the ancient magic circle.

Su Ming destroyed Hecate’s concept, negotiated a new magical debt system, and gathered allies as Luthor’s plan unleashed a Sea People invasion and flooded Earth with mutagenic water. He led the Shadowpact toward the Mariana Trench to drain the oceans, while the Justice League and Titans scrambled to rescue civilians and confront the alien fleet.

• Su Ming summoned The Upside-Down Man to destroy Hecate, then negotiated a deal that strengthened magic across the multiverse and left him with a share of the interest.
• Su Ming defeated Nabu and Doctor Fate, then disguised himself as Batwoman to humiliate Gotham’s criminals and force Amanda Waller to release Harley Quinn.
• Su Ming reunited Harley with Poison Ivy, while Luthor’s agents killed Poseidon and stole the key to the Tomb of the Gods.
• Aquaman, Diana, and Firestorm found the key in Antarctica, but a Sea Monster swallowed them and carried them to Blood Reef, where the Sea God Triumvirate began flooding Earth with mutagenic seawater.
• Su Ming rescued Gordon, borrowed Batwoman’s ship, and gathered Harley, Ivy, Bobo, and the Shadowpact to respond to the crisis.
• Su Ming persuaded the Shadowpact to reach the Mariana Trench and use the Shadow Plane to send Earth’s seawater into space, then led a team into the depths.
• As the purple seawater transformed Atlanteans and flooded Poseidonis, Mera led survivors toward the palace and Garth rallied the Titans to attack the alien warships while Batwoman searched for the flood’s source.

Su Ming and his allies fought the Sea People, opened a drain to keep Earth from sinking, and rescued Arthur while Diana joined them. Luthor stole The Totality and the Door Handle, then vanished with the Legion of Doom as the world changed.

• Su Ming discovered the Trench Kingdom and organized a fight to clear the city’s central building so Nightshade could open a drainage array.
• Mera freed Orm, but Captain Solitaire’s attack transformed him into a Sea Person, forcing Mera to escape with Arion’s Divine Horn.
• The Titans boarded an alien ship, where Admiral Quell overwhelmed them and the Sea-Calmer began attacking heroes as the Submergence flooded Earth.
• Su Ming used Nightshade’s Magic Circle to drain the purple seawater, then fought Sea-Calmer and discovered the god protected a shark-jaw collar around his neck.
• Su Ming rallied the Titans and Shadow Pact Squad, captured an alien ship, and led a mission to rescue Diana and Arthur at Blood Reef.
• Su Ming infiltrated the Coral Reef disguised as Sea-Calmer, freed Arthur, and brought him back to Diana and the others.
• Su Ming explained that the alien sea gods sought revenge on Poseidon and wanted the key to the Tomb of the Gods, while arguing that Batwoman had baited Luthor with The Totality.
• Batwoman confronted Luthor in the Hall of Justice, but Luthor used The Totality and the Door Handle to trigger a change in the world and disappear with the Legion of Doom.

Su Ming helped the Justice League stop the alien sea gods, gathered all ten Lantern rings, and used their combined power to destroy the Sea Monster. After the crisis, he collected the former goddesses as payment and returned to Earth, where he prepared for The Batman Who Laughs and Luthor’s next move.

• Mera and Superman discovered the truth about Arion and Poseidon, while Barry’s transformation worsened and Su Ming helped the group escape the flooded tomb.
• Su Ming gathered Lantern rings from across the universe, including Black Hand’s Black Lantern Ring, and found Eclipsed Star with the Upside-Down Man’s help.
• Diana launched an Atlantean rocket through the alien barrier, allowing the Justice League to board the enemy ship as Black Manta seized control of the conflict.
• Su Ming used all ten Lantern rings to destroy the Sea Monster and heal Barry, then left the Justice League to begin Earth’s recovery.
• Joker turned on Luthor, trapped him, and revealed that he had planned to destroy the Legion of Doom and its base.
• Su Ming collected Athena, Artemis, and Hestia from Hera, then left them in Atlantis with entrance-exam papers so they could live as humans.
• Su Ming returned to Brooklyn, set alarms around Harley’s rooftop, and warned Barry that The Batman Who Laughs might attack before the multiverse was destroyed.
