After sealing Apocalypse and returning to Earth-0, Su Ming found the Justice League facing a new crisis involving The Totality and a mutagenic barrier. He took command of Amanda Waller’s Suicide Squad, survived the barrier’s effects, and ended the stretch with new weapons and a summons from Hera.

• Su Ming sealed Apocalypse with the Phoenix’s help, returned to New York, and learned that the Ancient One had chosen him as the next Sorcerer Supreme.
• Su Ming accepted the Sorcerer Supreme role in exchange for the Cloak of Levitation and Kamar-Taj’s obedience, then crossed into Earth-0 to collect his debt from Batwoman.
• Su Ming found the Justice League battling ape-men and learned that The Totality had landed in Nevada, while the League voted to let it remain on Earth.
• Su Ming explained the multiversal danger to Barry and flew away to investigate The Totality, while Amanda Waller assembled the Suicide Squad to recover it.
• Su Ming attacked A.R.G.U.S., defeated the Suicide Squad, and forced Amanda to give him command of the team.
• Su Ming and Killer Croc entered the barrier around the alien object, where an unknown energy mutated Croc and nearly transformed Su Ming.
• Su Ming and the Suicide Squad subdued Croc, and Strangle devoured his mutated cells to restore him to normal size.
• Su Ming returned the Squad to A.R.G.U.S., collected a God Metal Gauss Rifle from Vulcan, and learned that Hera wanted to speak with him after Zeus disappeared.

Su Ming investigated the forces emerging through the Source Wall, fought the villains behind the Eclipsed Star, and destroyed its Lantern Battery. After dying and meeting Death, he returned through Harley’s dream to find the Hall of Justice safe and Barry newly able to use the Still Force.

• Hera empowered Su Ming’s Godslayer and asked him to protect Diana, then Su Ming disguised himself as Batwoman to investigate the Riddler’s murders and exposed the hired killer.
• Su Ming brought the Suicide Squad to the Hall of Justice, where he waited for the threat and joined Diana, Barry, and Aquaman on a mission into the poisoned underground sea.
• Su Ming and the heroes confronted Grodd, Cheetah, and Black Manta, while Superman and Martian Manhunter entered the Totality and came under attack from Luthor and Joker.
• John Stewart revealed that the Invisible Spectrum and Eclipsed Star were connected to forces crossing the Source Wall, and Su Ming set out to stop the Black Sun’s influence.
• Su Ming refused Sinestro’s offer to remake the future, entered Eclipsed Star, and destroyed its Lantern Battery by fusing Tenth Metal and Manhattan’s gemstone with a Black Lantern Battery.
• After the explosion left Su Ming in the realm of the dead, Death told him that Daniel and Lucifer had disappeared and sent him into the Dreaming.
• Su Ming escaped the Dreaming through Harley’s dream and awoke at the Hall of Justice, where he learned Eclipsed Star had been badly damaged and Barry could briefly freeze time.

Su Ming and Diana investigated the deaths of sorcerers and discovered that magic itself had become hostile after Nabu opened a gate beyond the Source Wall. The Upside-Down Man attacked, and Su Ming and Diana fought to drive it back toward its doorway.

• Batwoman divided the Justice League’s assignments, and Hawkgirl returned wounded with the Totality after taking it from Luthor.
• Su Ming learned that Hera and Eris were scheming to set him the Twelve Labors, then shot Artemis with the God Metal Gauss Rifle and sent Pan to Yanluo’s Palace.
• Su Ming and Diana went to Zatanna’s theater, where a tentacled monster emerged from a hat and attacked the audience.
• After finding a dead Warlock, Su Ming and Diana hired Arabelle Quinn to help investigate the sorcerers’ deaths and met Detective Chimp at Oblivion Bar.
• Su Ming, Diana, Arabelle, and Bobo examined the corpses at Justice League Dark headquarters, where the dead revived and warned that the Deviants were coming.
• Doctor Fate revealed that Nabu had opened a gate to bring magic back from beyond the Source Wall, while Nabu trapped Khalid Nassour and fled from Diana.
• The Upside-Down Man attacked Diana and drained her divine power, but Su Ming arrived and Barry trapped them in a Speed Force Storm.
• Su Ming and Diana used Tenth Metal to withstand the storm, then charged the Upside-Down Man together and forced it closer to the doorway.

Su Ming and his allies pursued Hecate’s marked bearers while Hecate’s power threatened the pillars of magic. Luthor advanced his plan to remake humanity as Hell came under attack by angels.

• Su Ming gathered magical tools, destroyed the Pillar of Magic with Albera, and learned from Constantine that Circe served Hecate.
• Circe explained that Hecate had hidden portions of her power in five marked girls, and Diana volunteered to draw Hecate out before Su Ming knocked her unconscious.
• Su Ming sent Diana to Hell and took Donna, Albera, and Bobo to Shangri-La, where he captured Spirit Dawn and discovered that the Oblivion Bar had been destroyed by Hecate’s possession of Witchfire.
• Su Ming followed Vivienne’s prophecy to Alba Garcia, and he trapped the Hecate-controlled Black Orchid inside Godslayer after she attacked the Parliament of Trees.
• Diana escaped Mazikeen’s palace, found Circe at Dream’s castle, and flew toward Nanda Parbat after Circe told her the others had gone there.
• Luthor revealed that he planned to use the Door Handle and Invisible Spectrum to create New Humans, then sent Cheetah and Black Manta to begin the third day of Genesis.
• Su Ming, Donna, Albera, and Bobo found angels controlling demons in Hell, resisted their psychic command, and Su Ming killed one with the Nightfall Greatsword.
