Su Ming traveled to Night City as Johnny Silverhand, recruited V and Jack for a plan to destroy Arasaka Tower, and freed Songbird to help him reach the Blackwall. He secured Rogue’s support and a miniature nuke, then restored her youth as the group set out.

• Su Ming brought Ciri to Night City, gave her money through Adjutant, and disguised himself as Johnny Silverhand before visiting Jack and V.
• Su Ming met V and Jack at Doctor Victor’s clinic, warned them about Dexter DeShawn’s job, and promised to take them to Rogue for a major gig.
• Su Ming traced Songbird through Dogtown’s network and offered her a new body in exchange for help reaching the Blackwall.
• Adjutant transferred Songbird’s personality into her customized body, and Su Ming explained Mikoshi and his plans involving Johnny, Alt, and Arasaka Tower to Ciri.
• Su Ming met V and Jack at the Afterlife, killed Dexter DeShawn and his bodyguard, then introduced Songbird and explained his plan to Rogue.
• Rogue agreed to support the attack if Su Ming killed Adam Smasher, and V, Jack, Ciri, and Songbird prepared to leave with him.
• Rogue showed the group a miniature nuke, led the convoy through Night City, and agreed to stay allied with Su Ming if he saved Johnny.
• Su Ming restored Rogue’s youthful appearance, stopped her car from crashing, and told her he had killed a god.

Su Ming and his team destroyed Arasaka Tower, revived Johnny Silverhand, and entered Mikoshi to bring Alt back. After Alt returned, Su Ming crossed the Blackwall with her and Songbird to investigate Cyberspace’s central node.

• Su Ming led the team into Arasaka Tower, planted a nuclear bomb, and defeated Adam Smasher while the others looted.
• Rogue vented her grief over Adam, and the team escaped before the bomb destroyed the tower.
• Ciri killed Saburo Arasaka, incapacitated Yorinobu and Goro Takemura, and brought back the Relic so Su Ming could revive Johnny in a new body.
• Johnny reunited with Rogue, learned what had happened since his death, and agreed to help Su Ming find Alt in Mikoshi.
• Su Ming and the team returned to Arasaka’s ruins, fought their way into the underground facility, and reached Mikoshi’s server room.
• Johnny connected to Mikoshi and served as bait to draw Alt into Cyberspace, where Songbird fought her and Johnny stopped Songbird from killing her.
• Su Ming arranged for Alt’s personality engram to be restored, and Alt reunited with Johnny before agreeing to guide Su Ming and Songbird.
• Su Ming crossed the Blackwall with Alt and Songbird to explore Cyberspace and investigate its distant central node.

Su Ming and Deathstroke confronted Insomnia’s spreading nightmares, rescuing sleepers and distributing ways to resist them. Insomnia remained at large, while Su Ming began considering how nightmares, reality, and CAAT might connect and decided to seek Bobo’s help.

• Su Ming sought insight beyond the Marvel Omniverse and chose DC’s Hypertime as his next destination, then visited Daniel and learned that Insomnia had escaped with the Dream Ruby and sought to awaken the Old Ones in dreams.
• Deathstroke and Dream of a Thousand Cats pursued Insomnia through the Dream Dimension while the nightmare spread across the starship and trapped people in terrifying dreams.
• Su Ming and Dream of a Thousand Cats rescued Natasha from her Red Room nightmare, and Su Ming created plastic discs with brain-wave-stabilizing properties to help people wake safely.
• Su Ming ordered Adjutant to use the Anti-Life Equation on the awake population in worlds under his control, while Deathstroke and Natasha used buttons and a flashlight to draw out and kill a Nightmare tormenting Coulson.
• Deathstroke saved Superman from a nightmare crowd wielding Kryptonite, then helped wake sleepers at the Hall of Justice as Su Ming distributed adhesive tabs to keep people awake.
• Deathstroke and Dream of a Thousand Cats woke J’onn, Hawkgirl, Black Adam, and Cyborg, while Batwoman escaped her own nightmare and used Tenth Metal to protect herself before contacting Su Ming.
• Su Ming told Batwoman that Insomnia had formed the Sleepless Knight, stolen the ruby, and might be working with CAAT, then gave Cyborg plastic sheets to identify people trapped in nightmares.
• Elaine and Lucifer told Su Ming they could not intervene in the crisis, and Su Ming wondered whether Hypertime might be CAAT from Insomnia’s perspective before deciding to find Bobo and help Monkey Secretary.

Su Ming and his allies fought Insomnia’s linked nightmares while Harley and Batwoman pursued clues inside the dream world and Arkham. The arc left Batwoman exploring Christopher Lucas’s Nightmare as Su Ming planned to use what she found for a combined attack on Insomnia.

• Bobo escaped a circus nightmare after Deathstroke and Dream of a Thousand Cats freed him, while Su Ming warned that Nightmares might enter the Main Dimension directly.
• Harley entered her nightmare at Arkham, killed Nightmare impostors, and hypnotized one into believing it was Batwoman before pursuing the clues Insomnia left for her.
• Su Ming entered Harley’s dream unseen and followed her as she reached a higher dream level, where a mysterious voice offered her a comic handbook and urged her to ascend further.
• Deadpool entered Peter’s nightmare and helped him confront a Nightmare wearing Aunt May’s face, while Damian was awakened by Batwoman and prepared his Teen Titans for a possible crisis.
• Su Ming learned that Nightmares were coordinating through dreams and deployed synthezoids to contain captives and suppress outbreaks across invaded universes.
• Batwoman and Gordon traced Insomnia to Christopher Lucas, a former Arkham patient whose family had died and who had entered a vegetative state after overdosing on sleeping pills.
• Batwoman entered Arkham Tower and resisted its shifting corridors and Nightmare’s Joker illusion as she followed the strongest malice.
• Su Ming and Dream of a Thousand Cats watched Nightmares take physical form in Gotham and planned to learn what lay inside Christopher’s Nightmare, then use dream manipulation, Origin Force, and Harley’s hypnosis against Insomnia.
