Ch. 267Unforgivable

The Straw Hat Crew rescued the badly wounded Zephyr from the sea, only for the former Marine Admiral to threaten Chopper despite his treatment. Moonlight retaliated against Zephyr and the Neo Marines with a devastating sword technique, leaving them unable to resist.

  • The Straw Hat Crew spotted an injured old man drifting at sea and hauled him aboard, where Chopper began treating him.
  • Moonlight identified the old man as Zephyr, former Marine Admiral and leader of the Neo Marines, and suspected the earlier explosion involved Dyna Stone.
  • Shuzo and the Neo Marines arrived searching for the drifting man, and Zephyr emerged from the infirmary holding Chopper.
  • Zephyr declared that Chopper should die because he was a pirate, so Moonlight struck Zephyr with Sword Aura and Luffy rescued Chopper.
  • Moonlight used Extreme God Sword Style: Myriad Swords Return to Origin, slashing apart Zephyr’s Seastone crusher and overwhelming Zephyr and the Neo Marines.

Ch. 268Farewell, Aokiji

Ch. 269Dyna Stone

Aokiji met the Straw Hat Crew at a bathhouse and revealed that he had lost to Akainu, left the Marines, and joined the Blackbeard Pirates. Moonlight recognized that Aokiji had come to discuss Z and the Dyna Stone, a rock capable of an enormous explosion when exposed to air.

  • Aokiji appeared in the bathhouse, reassured the Straw Hat Crew that he meant no harm, and explained how seawater weakened Devil Fruit Users.
  • Aokiji revealed that he had fought Akainu over the Fleet Admiral position, lost a leg, and joined the Blackbeard Pirates.
  • Robin stayed wary of Aokiji until Moonlight appeared and said he had followed him there.
  • Moonlight guessed that Aokiji had come because of Z and the Dyna Stone, and Aokiji confirmed it.
  • Robin explained that the Dyna Stone was a rock comparable to an Ancient Weapon that exploded when exposed to air.

  • Robin explained that the Dyna Stone could trigger a massive explosion, and Aokiji revealed that Z intended to use it at End Point.
  • Robin deduced that Z planned to detonate the magma reservoirs and kill every pirate; Aokiji confirmed her conclusion and asked the Straw Hat Crew to intervene.
  • Luffy agreed to stop Z, and Aokiji led the crew toward him while Kizaru pursued Z's island with several warships.
  • Zephyr, still injured from his fight with Moonlight, learned from Shuzo that the island's setup was complete and ordered the Neo Marines to begin the plan.
  • Moonlight sent a Sword Aura across the sea that carved a ravine before Zephyr, Ain, Binz, and Shuzo as the Straw Hat Crew approached on the Thousand Sunny.

Ch. 271Straw Hats Still a Crew vs. Neo Marines

  • Moonlight spotted an island on fire ahead, and the Straw Hat Crew saw the blazing island for themselves.

Ch. 273Punk Hazard

Moonlight and the crew discovered that Punk Hazard’s fiery landscape had been created by Aokiji and Akainu’s battle. After a distress call from someone freezing on the island alarmed them, Moonlight deduced that the caller was likely on the icy side, so the crew set out to reach it.

  • Robin recognized Punk Hazard as the island where Aokiji and Akainu had fought for ten days, changing its climate.
  • Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, Brook, and Zoro went ashore to barbecue while Moonlight and the others stayed aboard the ship.
  • A trembling caller contacted the ship, said he was on the island and freezing, then cried out in terror before the call ended.
  • Nami and the others prepared to land and search for Luffy’s group, but Moonlight pointed out that the caller’s icy surroundings did not match the fiery shore.
  • Moonlight reasoned that the island’s opposite side should be frozen, and the crew decided to sail around the island to find the caller.

Ch. 274G-5 Marines

Moonlight and his companions found an abandoned research base on Punk Hazard, where a hidden man ordered Trafalgar Luo to kill intruders. Smoker and the G-5 Marines arrived to investigate the island, and Smoker attacked Luo when the Shichibukai blocked his inspection.

  • Nami’s group hid as Smoker and the Marines approached the base, where they encountered Luo.
  • Luo claimed the facility as his territory and refused Smoker’s inspection, so Smoker attacked him with his Seastone Jitte.

Ch. 275Barbecue in a Blazing Snowstorm—Would You Believe Us?

Luo used his Op-Op Fruit to overpower Smoker and the G-5 Marines, but Moonlight intervened to protect Tashigi. The Straw Hat Crew explained that they had come to barbecue, and Luffy and Zoro arrived as the confrontation continued.

  • Luo removed Smoker’s heart and rearranged the G-5 Marines’ bodies, leaving them alive but confused.
  • Tashigi attacked Luo, but Moonlight cut between them with a Sword Aura and stopped him.
  • Moonlight explained that Luffy was present, and the Straw Hat Crew thanked Luo for saving Luffy in the past.

  • Luffy and Zoro arrived with a person who had only a lower body.
