Moonlight and the Straw Hat Crew helped overthrow Doflamingo, escaped Dressrosa after clashing with Fujitora, and gained seven allied captains. They then accepted Gild Tesoro’s invitation to Gran Tesoro, where the crew entered a casino while Moonlight and Robin investigated the city.

• Moonlight held off Doflamingo and Fujitora while Luo, Usopp, and Robin escaped, then joined them in an alliance with the Tontatta Tribe against the Donquixote Family.
• Luffy reunited with Sabo, and Moonlight entered the colosseum, defeated its fighters, and claimed the Fire Dragon Fruit.
• Doflamingo trapped Dressrosa in the Birdcage, but Usopp frightened Sugar into fainting and restored the people she had turned into toys.
• Moonlight fought Donquixote Family officers as the Straw Hats destroyed the SAD Factory, while Luffy defeated Doflamingo and ended the Birdcage.
• Moonlight gave Sabo’s water pipe the Fire Dragon Fruit’s power, then Fujitora granted the Straw Hats three days before the Marines would act.
• Fujitora tried to stop the Straw Hats from leaving Dressrosa, but Moonlight and the crew fought through his attack as the citizens helped cover their escape.
• Bartholomew and six other captains formed the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, while Jack set out to rescue Doflamingo and Gild Tesoro lured the crew toward Gran Tesoro.
• The Straw Hats arrived in Gran Tesoro and split up, with Luffy’s group entering the casino while Moonlight and Robin explored, and Moonlight then warned Baccarat after Luffy began gambling against Tesoro.

The Straw Hats defeated Tesoro, crossed Silver Mine Island, and reached Zou, where they uncovered the Kozuki Family’s plan against Kaido and formed an alliance with Momonosuke. The crew then split up, with Moonlight joining Luffy’s mission to rescue Sanji from Big Mom as the Reverie approached.

• Tesoro turned Gran Tesoro into a golden battlefield, but Luffy and Sabo defeated him while Carina prevented the hidden bombs from detonating, and Moonlight defeated Akainu before Lucci, Kaku, and Stussy stopped him from killing the Fleet Admiral.
• Moonlight and the Straw Hats sailed for Zou after Luffy encountered the Silver Pirates on Silver Mine Island, where Luffy sent Bill flying for deceiving the miners.
• The crew climbed onto Zunesha and reached Zou, where Inuarashi explained that Jack had attacked the Minks and Moonlight’s arrival helped reveal Pekoms and other members of Big Mom’s crew.
• Luffy, Momonosuke, and Moonlight heard Zunesha ask for permission to attack, and Momonosuke’s order let Zunesha smash Jack’s ship with his trunk.
• Moonlight and Robin found a Red Poneglyph and discovered Raizo hiding nearby, while Pedro revealed that Big Mom’s men had taken Sanji and Capone Bege had wounded Pekoms.
• After reading Sanji’s letter, Luffy learned that Big Mom had likely forced Sanji to leave by threatening the people at Baratie, and Moonlight divided the crew between the rescue mission and the journey to Wano.
• Kin'emon revealed that Momonosuke was Kozuki Oden’s son and explained the Kozuki Family’s ties to the Poneglyphs, after which Momonosuke asked Luffy to ally with him against Kaido.
• Moonlight, Luffy, Nami, and Brook sailed to rescue Sanji with Carrot joining them, while the others headed toward Wano and Shanks arrived at Mariejois to discuss a pirate with the Five Elders.

Moonlight and the Straw Hat Pirates invaded Big Mom’s territory to rescue Sanji and disrupt her plan to destroy the Vinsmoke Family. They escaped Whole Cake Island with new allies, then changed course for the Pirate Expo as news of their fight made Luffy the Fifth Emperor and revealed Moonlight’s 2.5-billion bounty.

• Luffy poisoned himself by eating a fish, and Vinsmoke Reiju rescued him while revealing that Sanji’s family had arranged his marriage to Pudding.
• Moonlight and the crew entered Big Mom’s territory to rescue Sanji, and Pudding gave them a chart while secretly showing her third eye after they departed.
• Moonlight defeated Cracker, Smoothie, and Katakuri before helping Luffy escape Big Mom, who had planned to use Sanji’s wedding as cover to kill the Vinsmoke Family.
• Sanji reunited with the crew and revealed Big Mom’s plan, then Capone Bege and Jinbe recruited them to sabotage the tea party.
• At the tea party, Pudding defected, the Straw Hats and their allies attacked, and Moonlight wounded Big Mom and split Whole Cake Island with his Sword Aura.
• Germa 66 and Jinbe helped the crew escape the pursuing fleet, while Moonlight cut through more than a hundred Big Mom Pirates ships and Stussy intervened with her own fleet.
• Sanji agreed to an alliance with Germa 66 and Bege, but the remaining crew changed course for the Pirate Expo after meeting Luo, and Jinbe left to make arrangements with the Sun Pirates.
• News of the escape made Luffy the Fifth Emperor of the Sea, and the crew discovered Luffy’s 1.5-billion and Moonlight’s 2.5-billion bounties.

Moonlight helped Luffy’s crew survive the Pirate Expo and reach Wano, where they joined the effort to overthrow Kaido and Orochi. The arc ended with Moonlight cutting Kaido out of the sky, only for the Emperor to recover and heal his wound.

• Moonlight fought Bullet at the Pirate Expo while Luffy and the others defeated him, then helped the crew escape the Buster Call after Luffy crushed the Eternal Pose.
• Moonlight reached Wano with Luffy and Nami, rescued Tama, and helped defeat Holdem’s forces before the group returned food to Ruined Town.
• Luo led the group to Mount Atama, where Kin’emon and the other samurai revealed that Kozuki Toki had sent them twenty years into the future.
• Kaido arrived in dragon form and unleashed a Heat Breath toward Mount Atama, where Luffy, Kin’emon, and the others were hiding.
• Moonlight split Kaido’s Heat Breath with Kusanagi and charged at the Emperor as his allies fled.
• Moonlight slashed Kaido and knocked him from the sky, but Kaido returned to human form and healed Moonlight’s wound.
