Seeing the smile Yanbai always wore before he pulled something wicked, Madara Uchiha narrowed his eyes. "What nasty idea have you come up with now..."
His voice trailed off toward the end, because his eyes were once again affected by Yanbai's dōjutsu.
But it lasted only an instant.
"What are you two doing?"
As Tobirama Senju's cool voice rang out, Yanbai immediately released his dōjutsu and looked toward him.
Tobirama Senju was not in good shape. Other than physically and mentally exhausted, Yanbai could find no words to describe his current state.
"Older Brother, did something happen?" Yanbai was good at reading people's expressions.
Tobirama Senju looked at Yanbai, his lips turned down into a へ shape. His eyes were somewhat clouded, but he finally seemed a little more relaxed.
Madara Uchiha gave Yanbai an odd look, then shifted his gaze to Tobirama Senju.
"Itama is dead," Tobirama Senju said wearily.
Because of their constitution, members of the Senju Clan tended to look younger than others their age. Yet now, Tobirama Senju seemed more like an exhausted man in his forties, though his tone had not changed.
His appearance was unchanged, but inside, he seemed to have aged ten years.
Yanbai fell silent for a few seconds, then suddenly smiled gently. "Thank you for your hard work, Older Brother."
"This is just exhausting..." Tobirama Senju could not help recounting everything he had witnessed.
Yet when Yanbai heard what Yuna had done, his eyebrows rose involuntarily.
Madara Uchiha, however, said quietly and expressionlessly, "That woman was clearly making the choice that benefited her most."
Yanbai looked at Madara Uchiha and nodded in agreement. "Exactly, exactly..."
Madara Uchiha continued, "Infidelity, remarriage, murdering her husband-those labels were already stuck to her. She represented more than just herself; she represented the Nara Clan, too.
