Members of the Uzumaki Clan and the Senju Clan drank and chatted merrily together.
They feasted on barbecue in the large clearing at the Senju Clan Grounds, their laughter spreading throughout the grounds.

The new bride, Mito Uzumaki... was too young.
She knew nothing of social tact or keeping a low profile.
It should have been her wedding night with Hashirama Senju, but she insisted on dragging him out and gathering his entire family, then announced that Yanbai was a man in front of his father and four older brothers.
Mito Uzumaki had a strong personality, though she was gentle with her loved ones.
But when something happened, she absolutely could not stand lying low.
In Mito Uzumaki's eyes, Yanbai was a cross-dresser, and the men in his family apparently had no idea.
That made Mito Uzumaki deeply uncomfortable.
When Hashirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki first met in their room, Hashirama had still been at a loss about how to talk to her, but she immediately asked whether Yanbai was male.
Hashirama Senju was an honest man too. Looking surprised, he asked how she knew that Yanbai had once been raised as a boy.
After they talked, Mito Uzumaki concluded that this was wrong. Surely a family should not deceive one another like this.
And then...
Now the five men of the family and Yanbai were all looking at the new bride, Mito Uzumaki, with the pitying gaze one might give an idiot.
After a brief silence, Senju Kawarama spoke first. He yawned. "Ah... Father, I'm sleepy. I'm going back to bed."
Itama Senju quickly raised his hand too, saying he wanted to leave.
The two youngest of Yanbai's older brothers both came over to hug him, then left without paying Mito Uzumaki any attention.
