Qiu Bai followed Lumine's footsteps to the outside of the Golden House.
The atmosphere here was a bit eerie, and the Millelith outside had all fallen to the ground.
"Quick... go quickly into the Golden House."
"Someone is tampering with the Exuvia!"
A Millelith on the ground suddenly spoke, giving Lumine and Paimon a start.
Then that Millelith fell to the ground and stopped moving.
Qiu Bai furrowed his brow.
Then a white light radiated from his hand and infused into the surrounding fallen Millelith.
"It seems that Childe that fellow also just arrived here not long ago!"
"Let's hurry inside!"
Paimon looked at the surrounding fallen Millelith, turned her head, and said to Qiu Bai and Lumine.
Qiu Bai nodded, then led Lumine and Paimon running inside.
Pushing open the Golden House, what met the eyes was the endless Mora all around, scattered casually about like sand.
There was a somewhat warm feeling, and the surroundings were like the palace of some emperor, with several ancient golden lamps lit ahead.
Several Millelith were also lying on the ground, and in the innermost part of the palace was the divine body of Rex Lapis, the Exuvia.
"Whoa! This is the Golden House."
"It already looked quite imposing from the outside, but I didn't expect the inside to be even more luxurious, with Mora all over the floor."
Paimon flew forward, looking left and right, her eyes shining brightly at the Mora piled up like sand all around.
"If all of this were given to Paimon."
"Then she wouldn't have to worry about food or drink for the rest of her life!"
As Paimon thought about it, she stamped her feet happily.
Lumine gave Paimon a disdainful look.
"Paimon, did you forget again what we came here for?"
Lumine put her hands on her hips and looked at Paimon speechlessly.
"W-Why be so serious."
"Since all the Mora in Teyvat is manufactured from here, taking just a tiny bit won't be discovered, right?"
Paimon looked at Lumine with some annoyance.
"If it were really that simple, things would have fallen into chaos long ago, little Paimon."
Standing aside, Qiu Bai saw Paimon's little money-lover act and patted Paimon on the head.
After all, for this Mora to be placed here so casually, no matter how one thought about it, it was abnormal.
"Turns out it's a bait trap, that was close, close, a good thing Qiu Bai reminded us."
Listening to what Qiu Bai said, Paimon thought about it herself-after all, Paimon wasn't truly stupid.
"We can't take it, but looking at it is fine, right?"
"If possible, Paimon wants to lie in that pile of Mora-sleeping would become even sweeter!"
Paimon looked at the surrounding piled-up Mora, then turned around and said happily to the Traveler and Qiu Bai.
"We should still confirm the condition of the Exuvia first."
"The situation of these surrounding Millelith doesn't look good at all."
Lumine looked at the Millelith lying around, furrowing her pretty brows with a pensive expression.
"Right, right, business comes first."
Then the three of them strolled toward the location of the Exuvia.
"I really haven't looked closely at this thing."
"I didn't expect it to be actually so small."
Walking in front of the Exuvia, Qiu Bai looked at Morax's fake body before him and touched his chin.
"However, it seems a familiar figure is walking over."
Qiu Bai turned around and looked at the steps ahead.
At this moment, a familiar voice came from within the spacious Golden House.
"As guides, your mission should clearly have already ended."
"Why are you still coming to look for trouble?"
Lumine and Paimon turned their heads with confused expressions.
"Hah, who is it?!"
Lumine drew the Six-Star Dull Blade in her hand.
In Qiu Bai's hand, he likewise drew the Ten-Star Yin-Yang Chaos Sword.
He suppressed the divine power in his body close to the void, afraid he might accidentally beat Childe to death.
A duck head-no, a brown-haired man gradually became visible.
That's right, the newcomer was none other than the Fatui Harbinger, Childe Tartaglia.
"If you were the Fatui, you might have received a generous reward from the Tsaritsa."
"But now, you are simply worthless... get-in-the-ways!"
Childe's gaze had long since noticed Qiu Bai beside the Traveler.
"It's still not too late to stop you now!"
Lumine held the Dull Blade, her gaze fixed tightly on Childe in front of her.
"Going so far as to halt the minting of Mora just to hide the Exuvia, the Liyue Qixing really went all out."
"But wanting to stop me now-isn't it a bit too late?"
Childe looked at the three people confronting each other before him, then glanced at Qiu Bai beside them.
"I didn't expect Mr. Qiu Bai to be here as well, although I don't really like raising a hand against partners."
"However, for the Gnosis of Morax, I can only say I'm sorry."
Childe looked at Qiu Bai, who held a black-and-white sword and stood unfazed, a fierce fighting intent flashing in his gaze.
"So, you really did want to search for the Gnosis inside the Exuvia!"
Paimon covered her mouth, looking at Childe before her in shock-this was blasphemy against the gods!
"As the Eleventh Harbinger of the Fatui, I must carry out the will of the Tsaritsa."
"The Tsaritsa wants it, so we'll come and take it!"
Qiu Bai nodded. It seemed Tartaglia was still quite loyal and a rare, good assistant.
Just look at the other Harbingers: Scaramouche ran off, and The Doctor wouldn't obey.
Thinking of this, the corner of Qiu Bai's twitched; there was no telling what the Ice God was thinking either.
"We won't let you get close to the Exuvia."
Lumine held the Dull Blade in a ready stance.
"The question isn't who allows me, but who can stop me!"
"The time for bargains and scheming has finally passed."
"Though I detest those petty methods, for the Tsaritsa, I can endure it."
Having finished these words, Childe looked at the three people before him.
"Next, we can enjoy some pure, simple joy."
"And that is... strife!"
A fierce fighting intent flashed in Childe's gaze.
"Strife? You're the type who likes to pick fights with people."
Paimon looked at Tartaglia, whose fighting intent was soaring, and asked somewhat confusedly.
Childe's gaze shifted to the slightly confused Paimon, and the corners of his mouth curved into a smile.
"In Mondstadt, La Signora offended the deities outside the cathedral, and slipped away hurriedly after succeeding."
"She would rather freeze your movements with ice and snow than fight you on the spot, all to avoid the noise of battle attracting the knights."
"When facing the strong, she only prioritizes calculating interests, weighing wins and losses, and considering the aftermath of making a move."
Childe slowly explained to the three people before him. He was in no rush either, because he had immense confidence in his own strength!
"Pfft."
Hearing this, Qiu Bai couldn't help but chuckle out loud.
Tartaglia looked at Qiu Bai in confusion, not understanding what he was laughing at.
If La Signora calculated interests, weighed wins and losses, and considered the consequences of making a move, she wouldn't have been struck to ashes by the Raiden Shogun.
"Never mind, never mind, Childe, you go on with your lines."
"I just thought of something happy."
Qiu Bai waved his hand, signaling Childe to continue.
Childe looked with a bewildered expression at Qiu Bai, who was laughing, thinking he was being looked down upon.
"I won't kill you; let's enjoy the fun of battle together."
"Since you want to play."
"Then don't let me down!"
