Background / History
Great Wilderness Training and Meeting Li Dao
Shi Hao comes from deep within the Great Wilderness and undertakes a hundred-thousand-li trial of blood. During this journey, he seeks Shi Qingfeng at the Stone Kingdom’s Second Ancestral Land 32 38.
He meets Li Dao beside the Taiyin River while fleeing a Blood-Maned Tiger with Furball after stealing eggs. Hoping to divert the pursuer toward another fighter, he changes course toward the sounds of Li Dao’s battle. He narrowly evades Li Dao’s returning Evil Dragon Spear, which kills the tiger behind him 30.
Shi Hao brings the carcass over, introduces himself, and cooks a meal for the two boys and Furball. Despite Li Dao’s greater strength, he feels secure in his company and considers him worth befriending. He then requests a spar, with Li Dao agreeing not to use Cave Heaven Realm power 31 32.
Li Dao overcomes him in close combat and withstands his Treasure Arts. Shi Hao admits defeat without losing his determination to win a rematch. The boys discuss the Dao afterward, and Shi Hao leaves a message promising to find Li Dao in the Stone Kingdom Imperial Capital 32 33.
Second Ancestral Land and Return to Stone Village
Shi Hao burns the Stone Kingdom’s Second Ancestral Land and exposes its dirty dealings. News circulating in the Void God Realm connects the scandal to the Rain Clan, which is punished after the Stone Emperor becomes enraged 34.
He returns to Stone Village with Shi Qingfeng and reports that he has completed the hundred-thousand-li trial and brought back the other “me” from the ancestral land. The Willow Deity praises the accomplishment, saying that even young Pure-Blooded Creatures might fail such a trial 38.
Shi Hao also describes Li Dao’s unusual attacks to the Willow Deity, particularly their ability to disturb his blood, qi, and divine power. The deity explains that Li Dao’s strikes carry the essence of his chosen Dao, then tells Shi Hao to prepare for a baptism the following day 39.
Void God Realm Records
In the Void God Realm, Shi Hao smashes the Starting Ground’s passage using extreme speed and obtains a Treasure Bone. Of the four bones involved, he receives only one, and even that is given as a reward 48.
His chosen name, “Loves Beast Milk Best,” appears publicly on the Record Stele, embarrassing him. Lord Bird and Grandpa Jingbi propose helping him recover the other Treasure Bones by targeting the factions holding them. He agrees, but first insists on challenging the records left by Shi Yi, the Double Pupils One 48.
After Shi Hao breaks several records in succession, news spreads through the Void God Realm and Great Wilderness. His feats attract faction scouts and prompt Martial King Manor’s people to enter the realm 48.
Raiding Martial King Manor
Lord Bird identifies Martial King Manor’s blessed land as the destination of a stolen Treasure Bone. Shi Hao plans a raid and conceals his identity with a mask and a deliberately lowered voice 49 50.
He overwhelms the manor’s defenders, rejects Shi Li’s threats, and uses his Suanni to shatter Shi Li’s shield and body within the Void God Realm. He then empties the treasury, pays Lord Bird and Grandpa Jingbi from the spoils, and leaves rather than risk being tracked 50.
The raid prompts factions to strengthen their defenses, while the War Goddess enters the Void God Realm hoping to recruit him 50.
Appearance
Shi Hao is a little boy dressed in animal hides, with a red silk sash around his waist. He is roughly Li Dao’s height, though slightly older 30 31 32.
- Dark eyes — described when he weighs the plan to recover Treasure Bones 48.
- Golden radiance — his skin develops a faint golden sheen during combat; after the beast-meat feast, golden light bathes his body and shines from his chest 32.
- Masked raiding appearance — wears Lord Bird’s mask when attacking Martial King Manor 50.
Personality
Shi Hao is mischievous and quick-thinking. He blames Furball for stealing eggs despite having egg smeared around his own mouth, then tries to turn their pursuing tiger into someone else’s problem. During his later raid, he combines a mask with an altered voice so that Martial King Manor cannot identify him 30 50.
His confidence does not prevent him from acknowledging a stronger opponent. Li Dao’s strength excites rather than intimidates him; after losing, he openly admits defeat and promises to win next time. He also treats the Willow Deity reverently and follows their guidance even when he does not understand the explanation 30 33 39.
He is enthusiastic about food and resources but maintains a sense of fairness toward companions. He initially refuses to take prey Li Dao killed, volunteers to cook their meal, shares his seasoning, and pays the two old men their agreed share of the raid’s proceeds 31 38 50.
