Within the dark ancient hall, beside the iron coffin belonging to Netherworld Venerable, stood not only Yuangeng, but also Rebirth, Carefree,
Corpse Emperor and the other Supremes projected illusory Dao silhouettes from their weapons, observing the being who had just awakened from his long slumber, returning from death to life.
Apart from Yuangeng, these Supremes of the Mythical Era who had once dealt with Netherworld Venerable were all tense to the extreme. They circulated their magical power and fully awakened their weapons, terrified that the seemingly harmless fat man in the iron coffin might suddenly lash out and kill them all.
"So, it's you!"
Yet Netherworld Venerable, the very center of this tense situation, appeared utterly untroubled. His gaze, as unfathomable as an ocean abyss, swept over the figures present before he leisurely sighed.
He now appeared to be at a considerable disadvantage. Seven weapons of the extreme Dao realm, including the Heavenly Nether Treasure, suppressed his flesh with their Dao laws. Though they had not injured him, they left him unable to move, stripping him of his freedom entirely.
"Netherworld Venerable-"
Only after a long while did someone finally utter that title. It was Carefree Heavenly Venerate. His illusory Dao silhouette stood beside Annihilation Heavenly Venerable, his words filled with emotion and recollections of the past.
"Carefree and Annihilation. Since we parted at the Heavenly Court all those years ago, both of you have actually survived until now. How rare indeed."
Netherworld Venerable greeted the two Heavenly Venerables, Carefree and Annihilation. At the Heavenly Court's zenith, they had all stood beside Emperor Venerable. But the years had rolled on, and much of the past had long since been buried.
