• Qin Tian appeared as Cao Yusheng, and Duan De tried to hide behind Ye Fan before handing Qin Tian his Spiritually Attuned Treasure.
• Qin Tian accepted the treasure, adopted the title Great Virtue Daoist, and rode away as Duan De cursed Cao Yusheng.
• Duan De told Ye Fan about Cao Yusheng's investment scheme, then crashed into another cultivator while riding his Divine Rainbow.
• Ye Fan dug a blood-colored bead from a rock wall, but Duan De took it and invited Ye Fan to become his disciple.
• Qin Tian caught up with Duan De and made him hand over the bead, repeating Duan De's promise to bring Ye Fan good luck.

Qin Tian recruited Duan De to help investigate the Qing Emperor’s Yin-Yang Tombs, and they worked out how to enter the dangerous Yin Tomb. The Yang Tomb opened and released countless treasures, culminating in a weapon radiating Extreme Dao aura.

• Ye Fan laughed at Duan De, who threatened Qin Tian by invoking Cao Yusheng’s identity before backing down and returning the stolen treasures.

• Duan De inspected the black pool and surrounding terrain, concluding that the Yin Tomb held the Emperor Corpse and could be entered when the Yang Tomb opened.
