(In a time-travel novel) Neph didn't have time to consider what the opportunity for Amon to advance further was. She could certainly guess, after all, Amon had once taken the Fate of the "Angel of Redemption" and become Sequence 1 of the "Destiny" Pathway. Before that, she had also suspected that her abilities pointed to the "Circle of Inevitability".

But that's too far removed from the present. Neph is more concerned with the ten thousand years she has in her hands, and with Bernadette, who is far away on the the Sea.

The last Mausoleum of Emperor Roselle was located on a small island off the safe route, and so Bernadette was shrouded in Storm after being forced to leave the safe route.

The Dawn sailed through the storm for an unknown amount of time until an island appeared ahead. Only then did she lower her head and murmur a Honorific Name: "Great God of Winter— "

At this time, the Church of Evernight had already begun to distribute the new version of the Holy Bible, sending these Holy Bible bearing the Honorific Name of Neph to every church.

It's a terrible experience, because whoever gets the Holy Bible will definitely try to recite the Honorific Name, and there will always be some busybody with extraordinary knowledge who will use their Mysticism language to make a bold attempt, thus waking Neph from her sleep.

She had already passed the stage of feeling sleepy, but no one wanted to be woken up, so after encountering this situation for the first time, Neph didn't hesitate to start preparing something she had never prepared before— Automatic Response.

Aside from a small number of beings who receive special attention and those who have reached the level of Demigod, no response will be received unless the various Ritual are performed according to the pre-set procedures.

Therefore, when she heard the Honorific Name, Neph did not hesitate. After all, there must be a reason why the prayers that still came to her after she had set up an Automatic Response must have a reason.

Spirituality the shrouding mist, Neph saw the "Dawn" drifting on the sea, an island not far away, and Bernadette standing in the Captain's Quarters's cabin.

A faint, Distortion blackness shrouded the island, Neph found herself unable to perceive anything about it. She realized that Bernadette had found the island.

Neph made a cool, White Mist rise and disappear, transmitting the signal she had seen, and then remained silent.

Bernadette moored the ship near the shore, and the sounds of piano, violin, cello, flute, and other instruments filled the empty cabin, blending together to create a lively and cheerful melody.

As the music played, the toast, steak, mashed potatoes, fried Mushroom, and other dishes on the plates leaped up and danced their way back into the oven or into the trash can.

The wine bottles, white tablecloths, and other items returned to their original positions, some even having their corks replaced, while others were folded neatly into place.

Then, Bernadette tossed a bright, unrealistic ball of yarn into the air with her right hand.

The ball of yarn rolled into the void, leaving behind a thread. Bernadette followed it, wandering through the Spirit World, until she arrived at the edge of the nameless island.

Instead of rushing to explore the possible Mausoleum the "Black Emperor," she cautiously turned her azure eyes, as blue as the sea, into the deep ocean, briefly losing focus as she peered into the river of Fate.

A few seconds later, Bernadette's eyes returned to normal, and she subconsciously looked up at the sky.

She felt that gaze upon her.

In addition, she sensed danger on the island.

Instead of using the ball of thread, she took out an illusory hat and put it on her head. This was consistent with the previous ball of thread and the strange occurrences on the ship, all stemming from "Mystical Reenactment." This allowed "Mysticologist" to draw power from real myths to create spells.

Neph stared at all of this, her fingers curling into a thick cloud of White Mist, and a thought suddenly flashed through her mind:

Why doesn't she try printing a history for the Mysticologist "?

No, not just the "Mysticologist," but also the "Scholar of Yore"—besides targeting them, I can also print cards for them, by the way—when Bernadette returns, I'll go get that "Mystical Reenactment" card. Putting everything else aside, I really like furniture that moves on its own; I'll get one too.

Bernadette followed a path that appeared to have been carved out by humans and entered a forest of enormous trees.

There were no birdsong, no wild beast roars, and no insects crawling. It was so An Ning that time seemed to have frozen, and so deathly silent that it was as if no living beings existed.

According to Bernadette, there should be many extraordinary creatures that have become extinct in the outside world here, so it would normally be quite lively. But now, she felt like she was walking through an empty graveyard, with each giant tree a Tombstone.

If it were any of the more mentally weaker Beyonder, they would surely be on edge by now, bearing immense pressure and slowly teetering on the brink of losing control. But Bernadette's expression remained unchanged, as if she had become accustomed to navigating danger and the bizarre.

After walking for nearly half an hour, she still hadn't seen any living creatures, nor even felt the presence of the wind.

Suddenly, the view opened up before her, as the massive trees in front of her began to thin out.

Bernadette showed no joy; instead, she slowed her pace, raised her hand, and touched her brow.

A pair of eyes appeared before her, devoid of eyelashes, unusually indifferent, and almost transparent.

Then, these "Eyes of Mystery Prying" were taken by unseen hands and placed on the face of a transparent person—this was Bernadette's "Invisible Servant."

This "Invisible Servant," carrying "Eyes of Mystery Prying," swiftly traversed the remaining path and arrived at the open woodland.

During this process, its vision gradually cleared, seemingly no longer affected by the faint darkness permeating the air.

Finally, this "Invisible Servant" reached the edge of the open area and relayed the situation there back to Bernadette's view through the "Eyes of Mystery Prying":

Beyond the sparse woods lay a large clearing, where countless creatures roamed.

Among them were red dragons with flames flowing from their skin, tree-men with burls serving as eyes and fissures as mouths, eight-legged Demon Wolf, Giant with deformed limbs, feathered Feathered Serpent that resembled small hills just by coiling up, and all sorts of creatures that were a mixture of humans and wild beasts.

At this moment, they were all facing one direction, prostrating their upper bodies or heads, as if worshipping some unknown being, and none of them made a sound.

There were even a few humans among them.

Neph didn't care about respect at this moment. She used Bernadette's memories to observe everything, while her fingers tapped together, trying to recall if she had missed anything.

- After Bernadette officially embarked on her journey, Neph compiled information about the island and revealed what she could to Bernadette.

She actually knew more clearly than Klein in the original story, because Roselle wrote a lot about the island in her diary, although she didn't mention everything, she did mention many key details.

Thanks to her ability, Neph was able to glimpse some of Emperor Roselle's memories through that diary, such as the bodies of those ladies and young women—a few glaring images flashed through her mind, jolting Neph awake. She shook her head to bring her thoughts back on track.

After confirming that she hadn't missed any crucial information, Neph looked more closely. The "Invisible Servant" was quickly discovered, and Bernadette made a decisive move, sending the "Invisible Servant" back to the Spirit World while simultaneously changing her own position.

The investigation was slow. Although Bernadette had a preliminary understanding of the island's situation and knew that there was a problem with the island's rules regarding resurrection and New Life, it did not prevent her from investigating carefully. After all, Neph's information was not accurate enough, and things were always subject to change. Even if she herself was not sure, Neph would remind her to confirm.

Neph knew very well that the stories in her memory could no longer be used directly in the present; they could only serve as a reference.

Bernadette followed the path paved by the "Invisible Servant," using no Beyonder Ability other than the "Invisibility Hat" to avoid disturbing the environment and missing any details. As a result, she did not walk very fast, and it took her about fifteen minutes to leave the area.

At this moment, the "Invisible Servant" had already entered the forest ahead, and heard the occasional bird calls and beast roars, and felt a vibrant life force different from the rest of the area.

After traveling for a few more minutes, the "Invisible Servant" suddenly spotted something that didn't quite fit into the environment of this Primitive Island.

It was a wooden cabin, like the cabin of a forester.

The wooden house is brownish-green overall and no more than 2.5 meters high. It seems to be designed for humans, but every detail reveals its ruggedness and simplicity.

At this moment, the door of the wooden house was open, allowing Bernadette to see part of the interior through her "Eyes of Mystery Prying":

A wooden table, a fur-covered bed, and a low-backed round chair create a scene reminiscent of human habitation.

Bernadette recalled the information in her mind and realized that Edwards should be living here. He was one of the "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" who followed Emperor Roselle to explore this island. As for the origin of this title, she had no answer.

Bernadette did not leave immediately. She controlled the "unmanned servants" to search the cabin because Neph had not actually told her the rest of the story. There were too many complicated changes involved, which made Neph dare not interfere too much.

Therefore, Bernadette maintained her cautious approach to verification and investigation. The "Invisible Servant" found Edwards in the cabin. He was dressed in luxurious clothes from the Roselle era, with completely white hair, an aged appearance, and a pair of light blue, extremely indifferent and wooden eyes.

Edwards stared at the "Invisible Servant" for a few seconds, then suddenly opened his mouth and said in a low voice, "Your Highness."

Bernadette paused for two seconds, then responded through her "Invisible Servant": "Uncle Edwards, why are you here?"

She used the name she had when she was young to reduce the probability of unnecessary accidents.

When her voice echoed through the surrounding air via the "Invisible Servant," it was dry, hoarse, and completely different from her normal state.

Edwards' face was pale, as if he had just crawled out of a graveyard, devoid of any warmth.

I don't know either.

"One time I woke up and found myself back on this island."

"Perhaps this is my destiny, my destiny to protect His Your Majesty."

He would pause after each sentence, but he didn't seem breathless. It was as if he hadn't spoken in a long time, so his throat was "rusty" and not quite used to it.

Before Bernadette could ask, the knight, whose name had been known throughout the continent for over a hundred years, added in a flat tone, "His Your Majesty's Mausoleum is nearby."

"I have been watching over this place, waiting for His resurrection."

"However, after so many years, there has been no change in the Mausoleum."

"There has been no sign of resurrection."

Bernadette had the "Invisible Servant" look around and asked, "Is this the wooden house where you live?"

Edwards' exposed skin was slightly withered, which matched the age spots that were already present on him. He answered in a low, hoarse voice, "Yes."

"I used the surrounding trees as materials to build this house."

Bernadette's "Invisible Servant" looked in the direction she had come from and asked, "Uncle William and the others aren't with you?"

Edwards's cold, wooden eyes flickered slightly. "They were already contaminated and dead."

"Now, although they have come back to life, they are more like Monster than the original them."

"Your Highness, you must be wary of them and avoid them."

"Apart from Benjamin and me, no one else can be trusted."

"Frankly, I don't think any of you can be trusted," Neph turned her attention to Bernadette, Bernadette was clearly lucid. Through her "Invisible Servant," she asked, "Where is my father's Mausoleum? I want to see it."

Edwards moved his neck slightly, his neck stiffening slightly. "Okay."

He then walked step by step toward the wooden house and took out a rusty, dark iron axe.

"I'll take you there," Edwards said, gazing at the "Invisible Servant" that shouldn't normally be visible.

Neph watched Edwards take Bernadette away, remaining calm. The "Trojan Horse of Destiny" possessed some Authority over Fate, and the power she stole from Amon was as useful as ever, allowing her to adjust Bernadette's Fate and bestow good fortune upon her.

As the "Child of Winter," she possesses a keen enough awareness of the Fate of death. Although Bernadette's Fate has been fraught with peril since she set foot on this island, there are always places where the shadows are less intense, and places where they are intensely dark. Neph is watching over her, preventing her from making the Error choice.

After walking for four or five minutes, a mountain peak appeared, and on the mountainside stood an asymmetrical and majestic Mausoleum, imposing and grand, without a single weed or vine on it.

That is the Mausoleum of Emperor Roselle!

The Mausoleum gate was inscribed with various scripts and Symbol. Neph examined them and, somewhat disappointed, discovered that in the final moments of his life, Emperor Roselle, no longer as active as before, had not inscribed "Rosellean" on the Mausoleum. (From a time-travel novel)
