"Come on, Old Zhou, tell me. Where did you copy that line from?"
After the Tarot Club meeting ended, Nimrod's tone grew much more casual as he teased Klein.
At Nimrod's words, Klein abruptly coughed several times. His gaze shifted slightly to the side, and his face flushed a little.
"...The Book of Night's Revelations, and some works of fiction I read before."
Nimrod immediately understood. Noticing that Klein was on the verge of lashing out in embarrassment, he smoothly changed the subject.
"I'm planning to do something fairly dangerous next. I'm not sure whether I can pull it off myself-if there's anything you want to ask, you can ask me now."
Klein's expression changed at Nimrod's words. Although they were Above the Gray Fog, he still instinctively lowered his voice and asked with concern:
"...Is it about the Aurora Order? Do you need my help?"
Nimrod shook his head without explaining further.
One reason he did not explain was that Klein could not help. No matter how high Sefirah Castle's standing was, without the enhancement of a standing at the Oldest One's level, it could not divine events nine years in the future.
The future Fool might be able to do it, or obtain some revelations through dreams, but the current Klein had absolutely no chance.
The other reason was that Nimrod did not know how to tell Klein about the Circle of Inevitability Timeline. In that case, rather than dress up what he was going to do with lies, he might as well say nothing at all.
Seeing Nimrod's response, Klein immediately realized that there were things about what Nimrod was about to face that he could not easily discuss, so he did not press him.
"All right. Then do you need me to keep an eye on
