Nimrod rubbed his head, which still ached faintly.
After he had leaped down from Above the Gray Fog earlier, his body within the gray fog had plunged straight down beneath it, teleporting him back into the air above the area under his control.

His spirit body passed through the gray fog and entered the real dream, as though it had gained a physical body. Had he not known that his body was still in Sefirah Castle, Nimrod might have thought this was the real world.
After leaving the dream, Lumian had risen early, prepared breakfast, and set the portions out on the table. Once Nimrod and Aurore had polished off their meals, they left the house with Lumian to meet the three members of the investigation team.
Lumian remained rather quiet along the way. Only after they had left the village and nearly reached the grove did Nimrod speak to him.

He glanced down at his hands, and a turn of phrase Aurore had casually used before inexplicably surfaced in his mind.

How am I supposed to fight that? Lumian mocked himself inwardly.
"...That's why we need to bring together every bit of strength at our disposal. It's our best chance of defeating Madam Pualis-or, at the very least, finding out which faction
