He had never expected to find the Stealth Warships that had infiltrated the Inland Sea so quickly.
Lashius patted Lillard on the shoulder, an easy smile on his face.
"The Norwington Family fleet is fighting the Iron Tide Fleet. It isn't what we expected, but the outcome looks pretty good." Lashius signaled for the fleet to halt and watch from the sidelines.
Lillard froze. A fierce battle was raging ahead. If they went to the rescue now, they could surely wipe out the Iron Tide Fleet in one fell swoop.

"Aren't we going to help now?" Lillard looked puzzled.
Lashius raised an eyebrow and explained patiently, "Not yet. If we're going to do this, we need to go all the way. There's no need for us to make any unnecessary sacrifices for the Norwington Family."
Lillard hesitated for a moment, seemingly wrestling with himself.
"Brother, you call the shots. I'll follow your lead."

"Captain Lillard, the fleet ahead is requesting reinforcements."
"Understood. Have the gunners take their positions and prepare for battle," Lillard ordered with a wave.
Half an hour later, the cannon fire gradually died away. Nineteen of the twenty-three warships had sunk.
The entire stretch of sea was a scene of devastation. Sounds of fighting still came from only two of the ships that remained afloat.
"The timing is just right," Lashius said.
"Move out!" Lillard ordered the fleet forward to reinforce the Norwington fleet.
