After reading the note, Zou Hyuga crushed it into scraps.

Zou Hyuga did not even need to guess who had sent it. Only Obito Uchiha could call him Moryo and pass freely through Konoha's barrier.

But why had Obito Uchiha sought him out again? What exactly did he want?

The last time Obito had infiltrated Konoha, he had retrieved his other Kamui eye and killed an Uchiha Jonin, greatly strengthening himself.

Suddenly, Zou Hyuga remembered Orochimaru's attempt to recruit Hiruko a few days earlier.

Obito had also mentioned recruiting him into the Akatsuki several times. Could this be related?

After thinking for a moment, Zou Hyuga chuckled. "Forget it. Rather than stand here guessing, I might as well meet him in person."

Soon, Zou Hyuga left the village and reached the agreed meeting spot in the Forest of Death.

It was a dense patch of woodland. Even with his Byakugan activated, he could find no trace of Obito or White Zetsu.

After a while, a warped vortex appeared. Obito glanced around before finally settling his gaze on Zou Hyuga. He frowned and said:

"Moryo, your chakra looks unstable!"

Zou Hyuga snorted without denying it. "The last time you came to Konoha, meeting me wasn't your only objective. After that Uchiha Jonin was attacked, the Hokage nearly discovered me..."

He paused, then continued, "What are you planning this time? My power has already dwindled considerably. Before I fade away completely, I wouldn't mind passing some information to Konoha."

"Last time was an accident..." Obito offered a vague excuse, then moved on to another subject. "According to my information, you recently went on a trip with Oto Uchiha and even met Jiraiya, one of the Sannin?"

Zou Hyuga nodded without denying it. "So what? Are you worried Jiraiya discovered who I am?"
