"Ruri, do you know Reika Hyuga? Aren't you both from the Hyuga Clan?" Harukawa, who sat beside Ruri, asked in a sweet voice.

Harukawa nodded. Just then, Linghua walked over to her and Ruri.

"I'm so lucky! Two pretty girls right from the start. I never had anything like this in my last life. Heaven must be giving me a little bonus!" Ruri said, watching Harukawa and Linghua walk away.

Baicao Qingchun and Reika Hyuga were both quiet, sweet girls, each with beautiful long hair and a pair of lovely, large eyes. Anyone who saw them would feel their heart flutter, and they would turn plenty of heads even just walking down Main Street.

After gathering his things, Ruri left Class Five's classroom. Rather than wandering around campus, he headed straight for the Ninja Academy's gates.

"Today I met the Fourth Hokage, Uchiha Itachi, along with some of the most familiar faces from the anime. Most importantly, I had two very pretty girls beside me! It's been a great day!"

As Ruri walked, he considered whether to head straight to the Back Mountain to train or go home first and grab something to eat. Before he knew it, he had already reached the Back Mountain.

"Ah! Looks like I'll train here first, then go home to eat later," Ruri said with a smile.

Ruri followed the path to his usual training spot and glanced at the Copper Man beside the Small River. Then he took off his jacket, revealing the casual clothes underneath.

He slowly walked up to the Copper Man, assumed the Eight Trigrams Palm stance, and quietly said, "Eight Trigrams Palm: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms."

After all these days of practice, Ruri had already mastered Eight Trigrams Palm: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms.

His palms struck the Copper Man's body with a series of thuds that echoed through the forest. Under Ruri's blows, the Copper Man swayed back and forth.

After finishing Eight Trigrams Palm: One Hundred Eighty Palms, Ruri raised both hands above his head, then slowly lowered them in front of his chest. He let out a breath and said, "Eight Trigrams Palm: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms really lives up to its reputation. It's incredibly powerful!"

Then Ruri looked at the Ring on his finger and said, "It's still early. I'll rest inside the Ring for a bit and see what ninjutsu I can get this time!"

With that, Ruri pressed the Ring against his forehead and closed his eyes. A moment later, he was inside it.

Once inside the Ring, Ruri arrived in the familiar Peach Blossom Spring. Looking at the little pavilion, he said, "This time, Training Mode!"

As soon as Ruri finished speaking, several wooden posts appeared in Peach Blossom Spring, and a few lines of virtual text appeared before him.

This training session's objective: destroy ten wooden posts with the Rasengan.

"What? Today's objective is this easy? Just destroy ten wooden posts with the Rasengan?" Ruri said dismissively.

Ruri walked over to the ten wooden posts and felt one of them. Then a blue sphere appeared in the center of his right palm.

"Rasengan!"

Ruri slowly pushed the Rasengan into the wooden post. But once the Rasengan disappeared, the post had only suffered a little surface damage instead of bursting apart like a tree.

"Hah! Looks like it isn't that simple after all!"

With that, Ruri once again channeled chakra into his palm, forming a new Rasengan.

After several dozen minutes, Ruri finally destroyed five of the wooden posts. By then, however, he was already panting heavily.
