During the ninja tool throwing test, Ruri displayed astonishing talent and skill, once again turning his classmates' understanding upside down. Just like that, he became the top student in Class Five.

There was no denying that Ruri was exceptionally talented. After so much dedicated practice, his abilities had steadily improved. Even while practicing Ninjutsu, he had never neglected throwing ninja tools; otherwise, he would never have become so proficient and accurate.

"Ruri, you're really amazing! I underestimated you a little back at the Training Ground!" Reika Hyuga said after they returned to the classroom.

"That's right, Ruri! I'm so jealous of you now. You're not only handsome, but so talented too," Momokusa Harukawa said shyly from beside them.

Ruri looked at the two of them and grinned. "Of course! Who do you think I am? I'm the Hyuga Clan's genius! Still, you two aren't bad yourselves!"

"Of course not! I'm a member of the Hyuga Clan too, after all!" Reika Hyuga said with a smile.

Ruri smiled without saying anything, sat down at his desk, and gazed at the scenery outside the window.

Life in my previous world was never this exhausting! I kind of miss those days. There was just one thing wrong with them: I didn't have pretty girls keeping me company like I do now, Ruri thought as he looked out the window.

"School is still such a pain, and time still passes so slowly. Ugh!" Ruri said, coming back to his senses and shaking his head.

Harukawa, who had been reading nearby, heard his sigh and smiled. "Ruri, do you dislike studying that much?"

"Yeah, I really hate going to school. It feels like something is holding me back whenever I'm here," Ruri said, looking at Harukawa.

"Really? I think studying at school is great! At least it's not as boring as being at home!" Harukawa said, narrowing her eyes.

Ruri smiled at Harukawa. "Now I think studying at school is pretty nice too, because you're here with me!"

At his words, Harukawa's face instantly turned bright red. She covered her face with her hands, then buried it on her desk and murmured, "You're such a tease, Ruri!"

As they spoke, Reika Hyuga walked over and looked at them. "We just agreed to go out for a meal together tomorrow. Are you two coming?"

Harukawa lifted her head from the desk and looked at Linghua. "Really? I love get-togethers! Who's going?"

Ruri also looked at Linghua with interest.

Reika Hyuga smiled. "Well, it'll be me, you, Harukawa, and Akagimaru."

"Ever since you showed off your talent, he's been pestering me, saying he wants to call you his big brother. Ugh, you can deal with him yourself! He's been driving me crazy!"

After listening to the complaints, Ruri smiled and looked toward Akagimaru. "Really? All right, then! I'll talk to him tomorrow. I really don't get this guy!"

"Okay, it's settled, then. Harukawa, I'll come get you tomorrow at noon, and then we'll go find Ruri together," Reika Hyuga said happily.

A get-together with classmates? It's been so long since I've been to one. I really miss those days! And now I won't have to go home for lunch tomorrow, Ruri thought.

In his previous life, Ruri had rarely gone out with friends. Since coming to the world of the Hokage, he had hardly made any friends either, growing up alone from childhood. Now that he had finally started school and met a few friends, he naturally wanted to treasure them.

That was also why Hizashi Hyuga had told Ruri to make more friends at school. Having more friends would make the road ahead easier. Besides, friends were essential on missions, and teamwork was important too.

Always going it alone wasn't good. Spending too much time by himself would get tiresome, and tomorrow's gathering meant going out with two pretty girls. Naturally, Ruri hadn't refused. He certainly wouldn't pass up such a good opportunity.

"Hey, where are we eating tomorrow, anyway? Have you picked a place?" Ruri suddenly asked as something occurred to him.

"Oh, I was so busy thinking about getting together that I forgot to choose a place! Hehe!" Reika Hyuga said with an awkward smile.

"How about this? When the two of us come get you tomorrow, we can look for somewhere to eat on Main Street together. We'll have plenty of time at noon, so there'll be enough time to find a restaurant for dinner," Harukawa suggested from beside them.

Ruri smiled awkwardly without saying anything, then nodded to show that they would go with that plan.

"Okay, let's do that, then. We're heading off now, Ruri. Bye!" With the arrangements settled, Harukawa left the classroom with Linghua.

Ruri didn't linger in the classroom either. He quickly tidied his desk, then walked out and headed toward the School Gate.

As Ruri walked toward the School Gate, his mind wandered, but the sound of an argument on the Playground caught his attention. Instead of continuing toward the School Gate, he turned and headed over to the Playground.
