Today really wore me out! Just going shopping with Harukawa tonight was enough to leave me exhausted! Girls really are amazing. They can shop for so long without getting tired. They might not be tired, but us boys who go along with them really suffer! Ruri thought with a wry inward smile as he walked back to Mei Ling Hyuga's house.
"Ah, forget it. Going shopping with the person I love is worth it even if it wears me to death!" By the time Ruri finished speaking, he had reached Mei Ling Hyuga's front gate!
Ruri glanced at Mei Ling Hyuga's house and found no lights on inside. Then he whispered, "It's so late. Aunt Meiling and Neji should both be asleep by now. I'd better be careful, or I'll wake them up!"
With that, Ruri closed the courtyard gate gently and locked it, then tiptoed into the living room.
Once he reached the living room, Ruri found that there was indeed no one there. He whispered, "It looks like Aunt Meiling and Neji really have gone to bed! No wonder. Neji is still a child and goes to bed fairly early. Aunt Meiling didn't have anything to do either, so she went to bed at the same time as Neji!"
Ruri gently closed the living room door, then carefully entered his bedroom. Once again, he carefully eased his bedroom door shut.
Ruri's entire series of movements could be described as utterly silent. He had not made the slightest sound.
"That really wasn't easy. Why did it feel like I was a thief?" Ruri said softly after entering his bedroom and letting out a breath of relief.
After switching off his bedroom light, Ruri walked over to the bed and sat down, thinking, *I'm absolutely exhausted. I'd better get some
