Ruri rolled up his sleeves, then carried all the tableware on the table into the kitchen.
Ruri washed the dishes in the kitchen in just a short while, then wiped the water off his hands and walked out.
"All right, everything's cleaned up now! Time to head to the Anbu!" With that, Ruri walked toward the door. Just as he stepped one foot out of the room, he suddenly remembered something and said, "I almost forgot! I haven't grabbed my gear yet!"
"I'm such an idiot. I almost forgot to bring my gear on a mission!" Ruri smiled helplessly, then walked back to his bedroom.
Ruri looked at the gear on the table, then said with a smile, "All right, we're heading out on a mission now!"
With that, Ruri put everything he needed to bring into a backpack, slung it onto his back, and walked out of his bedroom.
"Aunt Meiling, I'm heading to the Anbu now! I'll come back safe and sound, so don't worry!" Ruri turned to look at Mei Ling Hyuga's bedroom and spoke softly.
With that, Ruri turned and left Mei Ling Hyuga's home.
I checked the clock just before I left. It's 7:40 now. Luckily, there's plenty of time to get to the Anbu. If Aunt Meiling hadn't woken me up and made me breakfast, I really might have been late! Ruri thought as he walked to the Anbu.
"I'm really looking forward to going on a mission with them!" Ruri thought of the others, then spoke with a smile.
It's been so long. I wonder how much Itachi has grown! I'm really looking forward to seeing how he performs on the battlefield now! Ruri thought.
As he talked, Ruri arrived at the entrance to the Anbu.
