Ruri looked at the tree that had been pierced through, while the Rasengan in his hand slowly dissipated.
Ruri turned to look at Momokusa Harukawa, then slowly walked over to her side and sat down.
"Well, Harukawa? Did you see that?" Ruri asked Momokusa Harukawa with a smile after sitting down.
Momokusa Harukawa came back to her senses and turned to Ruri. "I did, Ruri. I never imagined such a tiny ball of chakra could have so much power!"
"If that Rasengan hit a person, I really wouldn't dare imagine the consequences!"
Ruri smiled and looked up at the sky, thinking, The Nine-Tails' invasion of Konoha is coming soon!
"Harukawa, let's stop training here for today. It's already getting late, so let's head home and rest! Once you're home, keep practicing with the rubber ball! But make sure you take breaks, or you'll wear yourself out!" Ruri said to Momokusa Harukawa as he watched the sky gradually darken.
Momokusa Harukawa nodded. "Okay, then I'll go home and keep practicing today!"
With that, Ruri and Momokusa Harukawa walked down the mountain and each returned to their own home.
"Aunt Meiling, I'm back!" Ruri called into the house after stepping through the front door.
"Why are you back so late? The food's gone cold. Wait a moment, I'll go heat it up for you!" Mei Ling Hyuga said as she came out of the room and looked at Ruri.
Ruri nodded, then went into the room and picked up little Neji.
