"Is everyone ready?" Hizashi Hyuga stood at the head of Ruri's group and addressed them all.
"We're ready! We can leave at any time!" everyone immediately shouted after hearing Hizashi Hyuga's question.
Hizashi Hyuga looked over the main force before him, then nodded with a smile and called out, "Good. Since everyone is ready, let's head home. It's getting late. Let's try to get home by tomorrow evening."
After speaking, Hizashi Hyuga started running toward Konoha, with Ruri and the rest of the main force following close behind him.
"Ruri, I never thought we'd be away for so many days on this mission. The time really passed without us noticing." Running beside Ruri, Uchiha Itachi turned his head and spoke to him.
After hearing Uchiha Itachi's words, Ruri turned to him with a smile and said, "Yeah, we've actually been away for quite a few days this time. But we had so many enemies to deal with on this mission. If there had been fewer of them, we probably could have gotten home much earlier."
Uchiha Itachi nodded with a smile after hearing Ruri's words, then said, "Yeah, I really never expected the enemy to send so many people to stop us this time. I really didn't see that coming. But their strength was all very average, which was really strange."
"There's actually nothing strange about it. Most of them were just people pulled at random from the village. They had no foundation in Ninjutsu at all, so they weren't very strong. If I'm not mistaken, there probably aren't many people left in their village now, and their village probably didn't have many powerful people to begin with. Otherwise, they couldn't have sent out so many relatively weak people." After hearing Uchiha Itachi's words, Ruri turned to him and spoke
