"Creak!!!"
Just then, the door to Hizashi Hyuga's home was suddenly pushed open, and a middle-aged man, a middle-aged woman, and a very small child walked in from outside.
"Uncle Hizashi and Aunt Meiling are finally back," Ruri said quietly with a smile after getting a clear look at the three of them.
Ruri slowly stood up and walked over to them.
"Uncle Hizashi, Aunt Meiling, little Neji. You're finally back! Where did you all go? Why were you gone so long?" Ruri asked with a smile as he reached them.
After hearing what Ruri had said, Mei Ling Hyuga patted his head and said gently, "Ruri, we went out early this afternoon. Your Uncle Hizashi hadn't been home in so long, so I took him out to buy a few outfits and some other things. Oh, and we picked up an outfit for each of us while we were at it."
As Mei Ling Hyuga spoke, she lifted the clothes she was carrying in front of Ruri and gave them a shake.
"That's right, Ruri. When we went out this afternoon, we saw you sleeping soundly in your room, so we didn't disturb you. We thought you wouldn't wake up until dark. We didn't expect you to wake up so early," Hizashi Hyuga said with a smile as he walked over to Ruri.
After hearing what the two of them had said, Ruri looked at the bags in their hands, then nodded with a smile.
"Really? Aunt Meiling, I'm so sorry for the trouble. You really didn't need to buy me clothes. I still have several things I haven't even worn yet," Ruri said with a smile as he took the clothes from Mei Ling Hyuga.
