Working in the Anbu was incredibly boring. Ruri had wanted to quit several times, but he had stuck it out.
And so Ruri spent a dull year in the Anbu. Time flew by, and he turned seven. He had grown much taller than the year before, but looking at him from the front, anyone would still have classed him as a child.
During that year in the Anbu, Ruri spent every day either on duty or carrying out missions.
Over the course of that year, Uzuki Yugao and Ruri grew closer and closer. Their relationship had become much closer after the first mission he had carried out upon joining the Anbu.
Although Uzuki Yugao was a few years older than Ruri, to a transmigrator like him, she was still just a little girl.
Their situation could probably be called growing fond of each other over time!
Whenever Ruri returned home after a mission or finished his daily work, that little girl Baicao Qingchun would come over and pester him, day after day.
