Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Universe Strongest — concealed eighth-order strength 2 94 Already humanity’s strongest active expert. Displays only seventh-order strength because he lacks a Supreme Supreme Treasure and fears attracting enemies to humanity.
Acquisition of Wu Ming 115 116 Receives a Supreme Supreme Treasure axe from Yang Hao. Its suitability and secret patterns unlock a major increase in strength and further technique development.
Fifteenth Axe — ninth-order combat strength 119 121 Creates the technique by studying Wu Ming. Demonstrates ninth-order attacks against Stone Kite Progenitor and stops concealing his strength.
Sixteenth Axe 136 148 Unveils a stronger technique against the Divine Eye Clan’s Eternal True God. His strength approaches the Lord of the Skeleton’s, but the enemy fusion still holds the advantage.
Seventeenth Axe — ninth-order peak combat strength 150 170 184 Completes the eighth-order peak technique after 100,000 eras of seclusion. With Wu Ming, becomes slightly stronger than First True God and is recognized as the Universe Ocean’s strongest expert.
Eighteenth Axe — tenth-order combat strength 198 200 Completes the technique before the Infernal Flame Divine Mountain confrontation. With humanity’s combined power, destroys the Eternal True God and kills Third True Lord Star in two strikes.
Nineteenth Axe — tenth-order peak combat strength 229 Advances under mounting pressure. Can enter the eleventh order through divine power burning or barely reach it through combined attacks and treasure fusion.
Twentieth Axe — tenth-order secret technique 241 Develops the technique after prolonged specialization and access to inheritances. Replaces Wu Ming with a Mechanical Flow giant axe obtained through Jin World.
Eternal True God; comprehension of the Dao of the Giant Axe 284 291 Confirmed as an Eternal True God on the Origin Continent. Flower Language Island’s legacy and a teacher help him reach the realm after several thousand eras; understanding his axe Dao gives him a slim possibility of eventually becoming a Chaos Master.

Background / History

Giant Axe founded the Giant Axe Arena, one of the two most influential organizations among humanity’s original five major powers. Although he received extensive guidance from Original Ancestor, he was not formally his disciple. Original Ancestor waited until Giant Axe became a Universe Strongest before attempting to seize the Primal Universe, ensuring humanity would retain a supreme protector if the attempt failed 42 94 128.

After Original Ancestor was suppressed, he entrusted humanity to Giant Axe. Giant Axe carried that responsibility while hiding much of his strength: without a suitable Supreme Supreme Treasure, openly displaying his talent risked provoking enemies that could endanger the race 94 119.

He spent most of his time exploring the Universe Ocean, leaving ordinary human affairs largely to Chaos City Lord. Expeditions could last hundreds of thousands or even a million epochs, and he brought useful treasures back to strengthen humanity 42 60.

Appearance

  • A large, savage-looking man with loose, disheveled hair and a battle axe carried on his back 42 60 94.
  • Radiates a wild, domineering aura; during the Territory Contest’s settlement, his presence briefly suppresses those of three other Universe Strongests 166.
  • Wu Ming can form armor around his divine body, giving him the appearance of a battle-axe-wielding god of war 120.
  • On the Origin Continent, carries a massive purple axe 291.

Personality

Giant Axe is usually good-tempered, direct, and generous toward promising human experts. He supports additional resources for Qian Wu, provides him with a cultivation space, and lends him a valuable palace treasure because strengthening another Universe Master benefits the whole race 42 60 105.

His generosity does not mean treating individual achievements as communal property. When Lord of Void Gold pressures Qian Wu over his treasures, Giant Axe angrily rejects the idea of taking them. He emphasizes that Qian Wu earned them through his own ability and luck, and recognizes that coercion would damage both humanity’s unity and its reputation 116.

Protecting humanity governs his decisions, including ruthless ones. He avoids unnecessary enemies, worries that the Divine Eye Clan’s retaliation could cripple younger experts’ development, and refuses to spare Shrimp Jue once the latter becomes a threat to human Universe Masters 147 177 178 198.

He is intensely devoted to axe techniques, often using formidable opponents to refine them. His ambition grows from keeping humanity safe to helping it survive reincarnation. On the Origin Continent, he accepts that Yang Hao has become the stronger protector without becoming discouraged 119 152 229 291.

Abilities & Skills

Axe Secret Techniques

Giant Axe became a supreme expert through axe techniques and continues developing a numbered sequence of increasingly powerful attacks 116 241.

  • World-like axe phantoms: His techniques manifest enormous phantom axes that converge into his weapon; later attacks cover vast expanses of spacetime 120 121 200.
  • Treasure-assisted comprehension: Studying Wu Ming’s secret patterns accelerates the creation of new techniques 119 150 178.
  • Combat refinement: Pursues Stone Kite Progenitor for more than five years, improving his techniques while using the opponent as a whetstone 123.
  • Specialization: His Twentieth Axe is a tenth-order secret technique, reflecting his near-exclusive dedication to the axe 241.

Heavenly Pole Demon God

An ancient combined attack technique taken from Stone Kite Progenitor. It can combine up to nine experts and nine Supreme Treasures into a single Demon God, with its form varying according to the participants, treasures, and user’s will 123 178.

  • Giant Axe shares it with human experts at Universe Master level or above 123.
  • His first use combines Yang Hao’s avatar with Wu Ming, Demon-Sealing Armor, and Purple Charm Hall. His attacks improve by more than 100%, and the fused armor reduces incoming power to one millionth 178.
  • In larger formations, he controls the shared body’s movement and Wu Ming while other experts operate their own weapons and abilities 185 200.
  • Seven human True Gods using the technique raise his Eighteenth Axe to eleventh-order power against Shiduo True God 212.
  • It consumes enormous divine power; Yang Hao’s Cosmic Sea Avatars supply the reserves needed for sustained combat 178 212.

Ancient God’s Whisper

Giant Axe also participates in the stronger combined formation used for the attack inside Shiduo True God’s miniature universe 213.

  • Yang Hao’s simulation predicts thirteenth-tier power for Giant Axe’s Eighteenth Axe when humanity’s experts, treasures, and divine power burning techniques work together 213.
  • Under the miniature universe’s suppression, the actual attack retains twelfth-order peak power 213.
  • The formation’s rapid divine power consumption makes a quick victory necessary 213.

Universe Strongest Authority

  • Break Law with Force: Accelerates to several thousand times the speed of light to evade the Mountain Beast’s ninth-tier punch 115.
  • Reality manipulation: Can impose his will upon reality, including concealing himself near an intended target 183.
  • Miniature universe control: Partitions his Giant Axe Universe and creates a spherical cultivation space ten million kilometers across for Yang Hao’s Salamander Whale avatar 60.
  • Primal Universe restriction: His attacks, like those of other Universe Strongests, are capped at sixth-order peak within the Primal Universe, preventing him from killing another strongest there 128.

Divine Power Burning and Limitations

  • After completing the Nineteenth Axe, the first stage of a divine power burning technique can raise his tenth-order peak strength into the eleventh order 229.
  • His relatively small divine body limits how long he can sustain burning techniques and makes prolonged battles dangerous without external replenishment 198 229.
  • World Beast will attacks in the Dim Land force him to retreat despite his combat strength 217.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Wu Ming — Supreme Supreme Treasure axe gifted by Yang Hao. Approximately 1.8 million kilometers long when recovered; can form battle armor and provides secret patterns crucial to Giant Axe’s advancement. Later replaced as his main weapon by a Mechanical Flow axe 115 120 241.
  • Demon-Sealing Armor — Supreme Supreme Treasure armor surrendered by Stone Kite Progenitor. Giant Axe initially offers it to Yang Hao, who asks him to keep it to strengthen humanity’s protector 123.
  • Purple Charm Hall — Palace-type Supreme Supreme Treasure supplied by Yang Hao. Improves his ability to traverse dangerous regions and joins his Heavenly Pole Demon God fusion 152 170 178.
  • Cosmic Sea Avatar Armor — Yang Hao’s spare avatar used as armor and a source of divine power. Its self-destruction offers a tenth-order peak emergency attack 177.
  • Mechanical Flow giant axe and treasures — Gains from Jin World that further increase his strength; the axe replaces Wu Ming 241.
  • Dream Butterfly Ark — Entrusted to him alongside Flower Language Island’s inheritance; remains in his possession while he leads the Liao Nation base 284 299.
  • Cosmic sand — Receives one hundred million grains from Yang Hao for cultivation and recruiting talent. Stores the fortune in separate locations for safety 291.

Relationships

  • Yang Hao / Qian Wu — Initially a promising junior whom Giant Axe protects and supports; later his closest strategic collaborator and benefactor. Yang Hao supplies Wu Ming, Purple Charm Hall, avatars, maps, and eventually the resources for Giant Axe’s Origin Continent work 60 108 115 152 291.
  • Original Ancestor — Mentor-like benefactor, though not his formal teacher. Entrusts humanity to him after suppression; Giant Axe is deeply moved by the possibility of securing his release 128 160.
  • Chaos City Lord — Senior colleague who handles most human affairs while Giant Axe explores. Cooperates with him in treasure distribution, rescue operations, and race-wide planning 42 43 115.
  • Lord of Void Gold / Xu Jin — Disciple and principal manager of the Giant Axe Arena. Giant Axe rebukes him both for pressuring Qian Wu over treasures and for neglecting his own potential 94 116 119.
  • Crystal Race Holy Lord — Friendly allied expert whose existing connection with Giant Axe helps establish cooperation with humanity 187 198.
  • Stone Kite Progenitor — Opponent pursued to settle Yang Hao’s grievance and refine Giant Axe’s techniques. Their conflict ends when Stone Kite surrenders Demon-Sealing Armor and Heavenly Pole Demon God 119 123.
  • Divine Eye Clan — Major enemy whose attacks and bounty on humanity drive Giant Axe to strengthen himself and organize collective resistance 136 147 200.

  • Mistaken credit: Rumors attribute Green Eye True Master’s death to Giant Axe, although Yang Hao killed him with three bombs 147 148.
