Background / History

Ancient Salamander Whale

The system describes the Salamander Whale as a special lifeform originating several reincarnation eras before Yang Hao’s time. Its defining advantages are an enormous divine body, a high life-gene multiplier, and exceptional comprehension of the Space-Time Law 46.

An ancient representative, Salamander Whale True Lord, left behind treasures and recorded teachings. Yang Hao discovers his cave and suspects—but does not confirm—that the system-provided blood used to create his clone may have come from this predecessor 138.

Also called the Salamander Whale Progenitor, this expert used a warhammer and giant axe simultaneously. He created ninth-order peak secret techniques, achieved tenth-order peak attacks with Supreme Supreme Treasures, and nearly dominated three reincarnation eras. He killed three supreme beings alone and possessed seven Supreme Supreme Treasures, including a spare palace-type treasure left to his successor 143 144.

Despite his strength, the Progenitor failed to escape his final deadline. His legacy encouraged its recipient to strengthen their race and use his teachings for their own advancement rather than merely preserve his reputation 144.

Creation of Yang Hao’s Clone

Yang Hao chose the Salamander Whale over alternatives such as a World Tree or Nine Nether Clone because he needed its Time Law affinity as well as its combat potential. He began gestating it in his Divine Kingdom 46.

After hatching, the clone shared Yang Hao’s cultivation level but possessed a much larger body and higher life-gene multiplier than his human form. Yang Hao initially kept it inside his Divine Kingdom until it could develop suitable techniques and acquire equipment for a convincing public debut 57 58 59.

Giant Axe Founder supplied a dedicated cultivation space inside his miniature universe. There, the clone adopted a warhammer rather than a spear, both to suit its physique and to avoid resembling Yang Hao’s human fighting style 60.

Appearance

  • Body: A vast blue-purple whale resembling an Earth blue whale, radiating a wild, ancient aura 57.
  • Wings: Four equal-sized pairs covered in densely packed scales rather than feathers, with a faint blue-purple sheen 57.
  • Horns: Four blue-glowing, tusk-like horns; two are longer than the other pair 57.
  • Claws: Two eagle-like claws behind the head, each with five fingers and capable of gripping weapons 57 60.
  • Tails: Two broad tails arranged vertically, one above the other 57.
  • Scale: At its initial public appearance, a single eye is larger than an ordinary planet 63.
  • Armored form: Solar Flare Divine Armor adds two pairs of wings, producing a twelve-winged configuration 108 111.

Personality

Yang Hao presents the clone as a savage, proud, and domineering independent lifeform. Its first confrontation with the Sky Wolf Race relies on a fabricated claim that they destroyed its birthplace, allowing it to display outrage without revealing its true origin 63 64.

Its aggression also serves its cultivation. It repeatedly seeks stronger opponents to refine its techniques, eventually earning a reputation as the Zerg’s “hooligan” in Liuzhong Mountain. Nevertheless, it deliberately conceals some of its strength when excessive power might threaten recruitment or expose its connection to humanity 64 124 156.

The clone can be cooperative despite its public bluster. After obtaining the Silk Thread Map, it credits the entire Zerg team rather than claiming the achievement for itself 89.

Abilities & Skills

Enormous Divine Body

Its body combines near-perfect innate genes with exceptionally large divine-power reserves 57.

  • Yang Hao’s strongest Star Shard strike initially consumes only three hundred-thousandths of the unarmored clone’s divine power 58.
  • Its claws, tails, wings, and horns can all attack directly 60.
  • Cosmic Sea Avatar armor replenishes its divine power, making prolonged battles and repeated divine-power burning practical 92 114.
  • Its different anatomy prevents it from directly using the human body’s Star Shard technique; it must develop its own combat methods 57.

Power of Space-Time

An innate technique that grants abilities resembling a Universe Master’s Control of Space-Time while the clone is still a Universe Venerable 57.

  • Initially controls regions between 100 million and 200 billion kilometers in diameter; larger areas consume more divine power 57.
  • With burning divine power, approximately matches an ordinary Universe Master’s Control of Space-Time 57.
  • Removes much of the mobility disadvantage associated with its enormous body, making it more agile than Yang Hao’s human form during its initial tests 57.
  • Can overlap with domain treasures. At the seventh turn, its binding power is comparable to a Peak Domain-type Supreme Treasure 110 192.
  • At the eighth turn, the developed innate ability is called Universe Control and can stack with Misty Rain Flowing Light Sea 216.

Resurrection

Through its Space-Time ability, the clone can return to the past and resurrect others 57.

  • As a Universe Venerable, it can resurrect beings no stronger than Immortal Gods, not Universe Venerables 57.
  • After becoming a Universe Master, its enormous reserves make resurrecting roughly a hundred Universe Venerables at once feasible—one reason the Queen values it 125.

Extreme Cosmos Sorrow

A combat-oriented innate technique that supercharges divine-power burning. Its multiplier increases as the clone’s foundation improves, but its relative contribution diminishes at higher attack orders 57 114 192 206.

Development Divine Power Consumed per Second Attack Enhancement
Initial Universe Venerable form 0.3% 57 More than tenfold initially; twelvefold in its early combat assessment 57 64
Universe Master form 0.5% 92 Fifteenfold 92
Fifth Turn 0.5% 114 Twentyfold 114
Seventh Turn 0.6% 192 Helps raise its combined maximum strength to the eighth-order peak; no fixed multiplier is stated 192
  • Can also strengthen the divine power driving a palace treasure: the clone uses it to propel the Long-Dream Boat upstream through a powerful hurricane 115.
  • Heavy consumption initially makes it a short-term combat option; Cosmic Sea Avatar replenishment later greatly reduces that limitation 57 92.

Eight-Winged Trace

An innate survival technique reserved for desperate situations 57.

  • Splits the clone into eight fleeing bodies 57.
  • Survival of any one body preserves its life, but leaves it with only one-eighth of its divine power 57.
  • Offers little direct combat improvement 57.

Weapon Techniques

The clone develops weapon-based techniques suited to its claws rather than copying Yang Hao’s spear style 60.

  • Star Howl: Begins as a peak Universe Master warhammer technique and is later developed into a Universe Master’s strongest secret technique 63 124.
  • Star Devourer: Its later fusion technique combines warhammer and greataxe attacks, drawing on the Progenitor’s teachings. Its initial fusion version consumes 0.05% of the clone’s divine power per use 156.
  • Twelve-Winged Gleam: A movement technique using its eight natural wings and Solar Flare Divine Armor’s four additional wings to reinforce an attack 111.
  • Destruction and rebirth: At tenth-order strength, it reworks its dual-weapon methods so that one incorporates world annihilation and the other rebirth 216.

Machine Race Master-Acknowledgment Method

Lord Wanmei teaches the clone a modified Machine Race method allowing it to become the acknowledged master of his followers 185.

  • The clone divides its consciousness to take control of one Top Universe Overlord, five Universe Overlords, and 250 Universe Venerables 185.
  • Once the higher-ranking members acknowledge it, it does not need to personally manage the immortals and weaker members 185.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Star Devourer Berserk Hammer — Blood-red, top-tier offensive Supreme Treasure used in its early battles. Initially expands to 8.88 million kilometers; later reaches its maximum length of 20 million kilometers 62 108 110.
  • Veined Purple Armor — Early armor whose blue-violet coloration matches the clone’s body 62.
  • Exalted Fall Black Hole — Top-tier domain treasure that suppresses opponents and prevents teleportation. In the early Sky Wolf battle, it increases the clone’s strength by 10% while reducing Sky Wolf’s by 15% and Tianhua’s by 20% 64.
  • Purple-Gold Warship — Given by Lord Minglian as part of Zerg recruitment. Formerly belonged to an Innate Beast God killed by the Zerg; binding it takes half a day and 0.1% of the clone’s divine power 72.
  • Cosmic Sea Avatar Armor — A living incarnation worn as armor, supplying strength, damage reduction, and replenishment. Its strength enhancement rises from fivefold to twentyfold as Yang Hao’s foundation develops 84 108 156.
  • Solar Flare Divine Armor — Peak top-grade armor, primarily purple with pink, blue, and cyan accents. Reduces sixth-order attacks to one hundred-thousandth and soul attacks to one hundredth of their power 108.
  • Dreamlike Ship — Purchased from the Zerg vault for 62,000 Queen Points. Merges with the Long-Dream Boat to complete a Supreme Supreme Treasure 115.
  • Eternal Fall — Peak, finest-grade warhammer obtained through a trade arranged by the Queen and Lord Minglian with the Starry Sky Beast Alliance 119.
  • Starry Tower — Treasure from Sitting Mountain Guest that the clone binds before its next Universe Ocean expedition 119.
  • Peak Soul Supreme Treasure — Given by Giant Axe and carried for protection against the illusions and soul attacks deep within Liuzhong Mountain 123.
  • Star Annihilation — Supreme Supreme Treasure warhammer whose secret patterns aid technique development. Can manifest armor that greatly reduces incoming attacks 158 180.
  • Misty Rain Flowing Light Sea — Domain-type Supreme Supreme Treasure acquired by trading Starfall God-Destroying Fists and other treasures to East Emperor Holy Land. Its patterns enable the clone’s seventh-order technique breakthrough 194.
  • Edge — Supreme Supreme Treasure greataxe obtained from humanity’s stockpile and paired with Star Annihilation in its tenth-order fighting style 216.

Relationships

  • Yang Hao / Lord Qian Wu — Creator and shared identity; the whale is his clone, not an independent ally 58.
  • Salamander Whale Progenitor — Ancient predecessor whose matching physique and dual-weapon teachings provide the foundation for the clone’s fusion techniques 138 143 156.
  • Chaos City Lord — Knows the clone’s identity, helps preserve its cover, and advises it to fight human experts convincingly when necessary 58 66 110.
  • Giant Axe Founder — Provides accelerated cultivation facilities, equipment support, and assistance when Yang Hao becomes trapped 60 115 123.
  • Zerg Queen — Public patron who rewards its service and potential. Yang Hao later considers forcing her to place the Zerg under his command rather than killing her outright 90 119 180.
  • Lord Minglian — Recruits it into the Zerg Alliance, delivers the Purple-Gold Warship, and supports it in the Silk Thread Map battle 72 87.
  • Lord Yunmeng — Long-term exploration partner; uses the whale’s durable front line to protect her Zerg Warriors 108 137.
  • Lord of Sky Wolf — Early rival whom the clone humiliates, later kills, and loots during the struggle for the Silk Thread Map 64 89.
  • Venerable Tianhua — Captured and forced to surrender armor. Later becomes a Universe Master and vows revenge on Star Devourer Venerable 66 90.
  • Beast Ancestor — Temporary ally against Lord Ziqing, later an opponent repeatedly defeated by the clone 156 194 206.
  • Lord Wanmei — Seeks Zerg protection after Mechanical Father God’s death and transfers followers to the clone 185.
