Hongning Base City.
Although it lay in western Asia, relatively close to Europe, the entire base city drew its architectural style from ancient China, with pavilions and terraces everywhere.
Whoosh!
A streak of purplish-red light swept across the sky and entered Hongning Base City in an instant.
"Is that the Headquarters?"
Inside the cabin, Yang Zheng looked at the projection ahead. It showed an enormous spaceship-shaped building a full ten thousand meters long.
The building stood around a hundred meters tall, and its main entrance was a massive hatch dozens of meters wide.
"Yes, that's the Headquarters!"
Inspector Liu nodded, pride filling his eyes. Everyone who came to the Headquarters for the first time was awed by that immense building.
As members of the Limit Martial Hall, they naturally shared in its glory.
Whoosh!
The Triangular Fighter slowed down, passed through signal identification, and flew into the spaceship-shaped building. It finally descended slowly onto a landing pad, where the staff waiting nearby immediately approached.
"Mr. Yang Zheng, please come with us!" As soon as he stepped off the fighter, the man and woman dressed in blue robes greeted him with smiles.
Within the Headquarters base, almost everyone wore blue robes. Only a very small number wore red.
Following the two staff members along the interior corridors, he rounded seven or eight turns before finally arriving outside a reception room.
"Come in!" a deep voice called out.
"Yes!"
Yang Zheng pushed the door open and entered. The first thing he saw was a man in black silently gazing out the window.
"So alike!"
"You two really are alike!"
Hong, the man in black, turned to look at Yang Zheng. His eyes lit up, and he could not help studying him closely.
Confidence!
That was the quality Hong saw in Yang Zheng. Although Yang Zheng showed him great respect at that moment, it was probably respect for his position, rather than awe of his strength.
Just like Luo Feng.
Luo Feng also treated him respectfully, but Hong could not detect even a trace of fear of his strength in him.
"Sit down!"
"Let's talk!"
Inside the reception room.
Hong and Yang Zheng sat facing each other.
Hong's decision to meet Yang Zheng had been a spur-of-the-moment one, mainly prompted by the martial talent Yang Zheng had displayed. In just one short month, he had thoroughly astonished Hong.
But however he looked at it, Yang Zheng's ability to prove his talent was a blessing for Earth's humans.
Ever since the Great Nirvana, Hong had harbored a powerful wish: he hoped that one day, humanity could reclaim its lost territory.
But the monsters were no weaklings. Not only were their numbers greater, but the two Beast Emperors kept him and Thunder God occupied. Humanity currently lacked the strength to launch a counteroffensive against the monsters.
Only when more powerful fighters emerged among Earth's humans would they be able to protect humanity from the monsters.
Hong did not talk with Yang Zheng for very long. He merely warned him not to slack off, showed him some of the powerful beings in the universe, and explained the crises humanity might face in the future.
"Oh, right, Hall Master!"
After their conversation ended, Yang Zheng suddenly took out a small booklet. "These are some insights into generating force with the body that I gained while practicing the Nine-Layered Thunder Blade. I hope they'll be useful to you."
Once Yang Zheng had fully mastered the training methods corrected by the Cultivation Progress Bar, he could naturally compile them into his own experiences and insights to teach others.
However, others might not achieve results as good as his. After all, the Cultivation Progress Bar catered specifically to Yang Zheng, providing the training methods best suited to him.
"Hmm?"
Hong paused, took the booklet, and leafed through it. Before long, however, his expression changed. "So the body can generate force like this, too..."
Some of the insights recorded within were useful even to Hong. At least, in his judgment, they were feasible.
Yang Zheng's methods of generating bodily force included amplification for defense, which was precisely what both Hong and Thunder God lacked. With this booklet, their strength would also improve.
"What would you like?"
Hong accepted the booklet and looked at Yang Zheng after taking a moment to compose himself.
"Hall Master, I'd like to ask for some guidance on insights into domains," Yang Zheng stated directly. Hong's insights into domains were exactly what he had come for.
"Insights into domains?"
Hong considered it. "I'll have someone give you a copy of my insights into domains later, but that isn't enough..."
His insights into domains were not necessarily all that precious. The final volume of World Annihilation, which he sold, also touched on them, though it certainly was not as detailed as a newly compiled account would be.
Having insights into domains did not mean someone could develop a domain. Thunder God had not only received Hong's insights but had also discussed them with him many times. Yet he still had not comprehended a domain.
If someone did manage to comprehend a domain, Hong would only be happier.
Just how powerful was a domain?
As the only person in the world who possessed one, he knew that better than anyone. Even though Thunder God far surpassed him in strength and speed, Thunder God could not defeat him no matter how they fought.
Domains...
From what Hong knew, even in the vast universe, possessing a domain represented an extremely high level of attainment. Even Universe Level experts, of whom only one might emerge in an entire galaxy, did not necessarily possess their own domains.
"With your talent, I imagine it won't take you long to fulfill the third clause of your contract. I'll give you the rewards ahead of time today."
After pondering for a moment, Hong said, "Your King-Level Intelligent Fighter is already prepared. However, Fundamentals of Psychokinesis is rather special. You'll need to read it in the Virtual Space."
"After the enhancement from the Verdant Grass Dew, your strength should at least have reached the High-level War God tier. You might as well go earn a combat record while you're at it."
"Yes!"
The Limit Martial Hall's Global Headquarters base.
At the entrance to the enormous spaceship-shaped building, Yang Zheng had just stepped outside when a white man in red robes stopped him.
"Mr. Yang Zheng!"
The white man in red robes said respectfully, "The Smart Fighter Jet the Hall Master prepared for you has arrived. Please follow me."
Yang Zheng followed the red-robed man all the way to an open area on the other side of the spaceship-shaped building.
A deep-blue Triangular Fighter stood there. Its fuselage had elegant curves, making the entire aircraft look like a meticulously crafted work of art.
The fuselage was a little over twenty meters long and more than ten meters wide. Overall, it gave an impression of solidity and sturdiness.
"Mr. Yang Zheng!"
The white man in red robes smiled. "That is your Smart Fighter Jet."
"An intelligent fight-
er..." Yang Zheng took a deep breath, slowly approached the Triangular Fighter, and entered its luxurious cabin.
Whoosh!
The hatch closed.
At the same time, lights on many of the components inside the Smart Fighter Jet lit up, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The fighter's intelligent system immediately began its first identification procedure.
After his initial amazement, Yang Zheng gradually calmed down. He knew that, at most, he only had the right to use this King-Level Intelligent Fighter. Its actual ownership remained with Hong.
Besides.
The universe was vast, and a Smart Fighter Jet was merely a means of transportation for the time being.
