Background / History

Yang Zheng physically crossed into this world rather than possessing another person’s body. For an unexplained reason, he arrived as a three-year-old without his memories. Wang Jiu found him outside the Wilderness Zone, rescued him, and raised him as his son 7 9.

He grew up with Wang Jiu, Yang Rong, and their twins, Yang Jing and Yang Yi. All three children bear Yang Rong’s surname because Wang Jiu had broken with the Wang Family. Yang Rong’s upbringing helped keep the children from becoming spoiled despite their privileged martial-artist background 8 9.

After finishing high school, Yang Zheng passed the Martial Artist Combat Assessment and began hunting in the Wilderness Zone instead of attending university. Yang Rong disapproved of the danger and gave him the cold shoulder for several days 14.

He is devoted to his adoptive family but does not equate that loyalty with allegiance to the Wang Family. He supports Wang Jiu’s return because it is what his parents want, then personally eliminates their enemies so his father does not have to carry out the killings 25.

His sense of justice coexists with considerable ruthlessness. He intervenes when Wang Xing’an harasses a university student, but also understands the legal consequences of killing in a monitored public area. He chooses the Kyoto Trial Tower assessment over immediately entering the Elite Training Camp. His performance earns Hong’s attention, a generous training contract, and access to facilities that previously required contribution points and restricted training time 9 14 16 18.

After harvesting materials from the Black-Scaled Ape and Purple Giant Python, he sells them for thirteen billion Huaxia Currency and 6.5 million contribution points. His contribution rating reaches three stars, and his High-level War God recognition spreads worldwide 21 22 23.

Wang Family Succession

The Wang Family patriarch seeks reconciliation with Wang Jiu largely to secure ties with Yang Zheng. Yang Zheng supports his father’s decision but explicitly refuses to treat the family’s interests as his own 24 25.

At the succession gathering, he executes Wang Yanzhao, Wang Xing’an, Wang Xingping, and nearly twenty family members in total. His backing, together with the old patriarch’s cooperation, secures Wang Jiu’s takeover 25.

Planetary Breakthrough and Yunmo Star Inheritance

Yang Zheng enters seclusion ahead of the Mist Island inheritance events and emerges with Planetary-Level strength in both cultivation paths. After discovering that it is already January ninth, he rushes to Mist Island and arrives in time to meet Luo Feng 29 31 33 35.

He accepts Luo Feng’s invitation into the Yunmo Star lineage and becomes the Limit Martial Hall’s seventh Inspector. Studying Hu Yanbo’s legacy gives him access to warrior and Spirit Reader methods beyond Earth’s existing manuals 35 36.

Space Expedition and Disaster Preparations

While salvaging Ancient Civilization Ruin No. 12, Yang Zheng encounters a juvenile Golden Horned Beast. He wounds it with the Crimson Chaos Copper Mother Fragment, but it escapes; Babata subsequently prioritizes spaceship repairs and acquiring powerful slaves 39.

His Tamu Star expedition secures cultivation supplies, weapons, a Stellar Defense System, and 202 Universe-Level slaves. He spends the return journey training against configurable Killing Field opponents while Earth knows only that he has disappeared into secluded cultivation 43 44.

Golden Horned Beast Catastrophe and Aftermath

Yang Zheng returns from his three-month space journey to find Earth engulfed in war. He intervenes where Luo Feng and five other heroes are gathered and arranges the conclusion of the catastrophe through Babata and his subordinate 49.

He then conceals the six heroes’ survival, promises protection for their families, and supplies resources for their cultivation. Luo Feng agrees to remain publicly dead to expose those coveting his inheritance, but postpones possession of the Golden Horned Beast until Xu Xin’s children are born 50.

With the Limit Martial Hall vulnerable after the apparent loss of its leaders, Yang Zheng secretly reassures its Planetary-Level fighters and places it under his protection. The disaster nevertheless leaves eight Base Cities destroyed and more than a billion humans dead 50.
