Background / History

Rise within the Limit Martial Hall

Luo Feng became a warrior at eighteen. His emergence as an exceptional talent subsequently helped Huaxia Country receive additional Elite Training Camp admission places 9 48.

Hong first encountered him at the Elite Training Camp and increasingly valued him as his strength grew. He expected Luo Feng to become an indispensable aide and supplied him with the Sky-Escaping Shuttle in exchange for numerous plant spirits 14 28.

No. 9 Ancient Civilization Ruins

Luo Feng entered No. 9 Ancient Civilization Ruins on September 30, 2058. After more than a year without his return, the Limit Martial Hall officially confirmed his presumed death, and Hong eventually abandoned hope of his survival 4 14.

Inside, Luo Feng trained desperately to complete a trial and reunite with his family. Failure to finish within the allotted time meant death. He finally emerged on December 26 after a year and three months, startling the major powers with both his survival and his increased strength 27 29.

During his absence, Li Yao and Venina Polenas used HR Alliance resources to persecute his family through indirect means. The Limit Martial Hall ordered stronger protection, while Huaxia’s special department gathered evidence 17.

Return and Li Yao’s Trial

After learning what had happened to his family, Luo Feng attacked Li Yao and Venina in the street. He backed down when Venina threatened tens of thousands of civilians, then pursued a trial using evidence supplied by Huaxia’s special department 27.

The court sentenced the couple to execution. When Li Yao broke through to Planetary Level in desperation, Luo Feng killed him with a single strike. The display attracted covetous attention toward his weapon, prompting Hong and Thunder God to warn the watching Councilors against targeting him 28.

Mist Island and Yunmo Star

At the transformed Mist Island lake, Luo Feng initially chose to observe the stronger powers and improve his mastery of the Sky-Escaping Shuttle. He later distinguished himself in the Wood Bud Crystal struggle, obtaining the Limit Martial Hall’s second-largest haul after Hong 31 34.

Babata secretly guided him underground through suggestions that neither instruments nor spiritual force could detect. While searching for more crimson blade fragments, Luo Feng discovered the buried Yunmo Star Ship and its stockpile of Wood Bud Crystals 32 33.

He formally became Hu Yanbo’s final direct disciple. Babata fused the irreversible Inheritance Soul Seal into his soul, qualifying him to inherit Hu Yanbo’s estate, and began teaching him about cultivation and civilizations beyond Earth 34 36.

At Babata’s urging, Luo Feng recruited Yang Zheng into the lineage as a named disciple. He also intended eventually to invite Hong and Thunder God once he had sufficient strength: Earth needed powerful defenders against the danger of conquest or enslavement 35.

Training and Family Life

Luo Feng and Yang Zheng regularly sparred in virtual space. Yang Zheng’s superior bodily force exertion earned him the senior-disciple position, despite Luo Feng having joined first and holding direct-disciple status 38 44.

After marrying, Luo Feng remained on Earth while Yang Zheng and Babata traveled into space. A Babata duplicate stayed behind to teach him. Pressure to surpass Yang Zheng brought him back to training after only a few days of his honeymoon 41 44.

Golden Horned Beast Crisis

When the Golden Horned Beast threatened humanity, Luo Feng announced the availability of Yang Zheng’s B6-grade laser cannon at an emergency War God Palace meeting. He also reinforced endangered bases and killed the Eight-Clawed Beast Emperor, helping reduce Huaxia’s losses 45 46 48.

After Hong and Thunder God’s soul-burning attack left them unconscious without killing the beast, Luo Feng refused to wait for Yang Zheng’s uncertain return. He proposed a potentially fatal soul attack supported by five other Councilors through the Six-Pointed Star sacrificial technique 48.

Mohanderson, Ister, Tripathi Singh, Jia Yi, and Sokolov accompanied him into the ocean. Yang Zheng arrived with a powerful purple-eyed, horned man before the ritual proceeded, interrupting their preparations 49.

Luo Feng and the five volunteers subsequently agreed to remain publicly “dead.” Yang Zheng proposed that Luo Feng possess the Golden Horned Beast and later create an Earthling clone. Luo Feng deferred the decision until his and Xu Xin’s two children were born, then quietly returned home while allowing outsiders to believe he had died 50.

Appearance

Luo Feng has a lean, muscular physique that becomes noticeably leaner during his later training, accompanied by a presence described as more intimidating than a King-level monster 44.

  • Training attire: Blood-red living vine armor that can merge into his skin 44.
  • Council attire: A golden robe worn to War God Palace meetings 45.
  • Battle attire: Cloud-Soaring Battle Armor, with the Sky-Escaping Shuttle beneath his feet 46.

Personality

Luo Feng respects Hong without showing fear of his strength. He is competitive with Yang Zheng, especially over their disputed seniority, and channels that frustration into intensive training 20 44.

His protectiveness extends beyond his family. He compromises with Venina to save civilians, seeks to strengthen Earth through sharing Yunmo Star’s lineage, and volunteers for a potentially fatal attack rather than watch humanity continue to perish 27 35 48.

He is also cautious about unfamiliar obligations and risks. He avoids disclosing restricted details of the ruins because he fears the Bald Crystal Man’s possible surveillance, and initially hesitates over possessing a nonhuman body 28 50.
