When the tenth blood-red fighter jet appeared, the Devouring Beast eagerly rushed toward it.

At that very instant, the Laser Cannon operated by a Flowing Silver Guard concealed a kilometer away finished charging. A dazzling pillar of white light shot out, struck the Devouring Beast's head with pinpoint accuracy, and pierced the heavens.

Soon, its entire head had regrown, and its two sharp horns, one long and one short, had fused back into its skull.
The golden patterns on its scales lit up. As though imbued with some strange magic, they propelled the Golden Horned Beast underground at an unbelievable speed.
The Golden Horned Beast had never been so furious. Even the little creature it had encountered in the ocean last time had only inflicted superficial wounds and frightened it into retreating.
This time, however, it had suffered the worst injuries of its life. Those injuries had also awakened the savage madness in its very bones.

Destroy it!
The instant the beam struck, the Golden Horned Beast had pinpointed the direction of the attack and locked onto the black-clad figure who had fired the weapon.

Hope flared within everyone. On the satellite surveillance screen, the Flowing Silver Guard immediately put away the Laser Cannon after firing and fled the area.
But just then, a flash of golden light burst out of the ground and shot into the sky. The Golden Horned Beast beat its scaled wings and swiftly climbed high into the air, its dark golden eyes filled with coldness, savagery, and murderous intent.
"Woo!"
The Golden Horned Beast roared in fury. The golden patterns on the sharp horns on its forehead suddenly lit up, and its eyes turned a dazzling gold.
Golden light raced along its neck and back, then flowed into its two front claws. Its sharp claws swept straight toward the Flowing Silver Guard.
Whoosh!
At the last possible instant,
Another Flowing Silver Guard abruptly expanded into a silver-white giant two hundred meters tall. With a palm of flowing liquid metal, it forcibly blocked the Devouring Beast's lethal strike.
The claws slammed into its palm, denting it, but the damage instantly repaired itself.
Although the Devouring Beast could use its speed to circle around, the two Flowing Silver Guards, now silver giants, coordinated with each other.
One held it back while the other fled.
One blocked it while the other raised the cannon in warning.
Severely injured and weakened, the Devouring Beast could only let out an angry growl before flying straight into the ocean.
Though the Flowing Silver Guards had no offensive power, they had successfully preserved humanity's last hope-
