Background
Yun Niang first operates under the guise of a scar-faced ferrywoman at a wild ferry outside Cangwu City. Although she initially conceals her appearance beneath a human-skin mask, Lu Chen identifies her disguise. She later reveals that beneath the deliberately ugly facade is a beautiful face, then leaves Cangwu City after the Luo Family and Blood Spirit Sect conspiracy is stopped 7 10.
After Lu Chen searches for her during his travels, Yun Niang reunites with him at Tianyan Academy. She reveals that she serves the Peerless Princess and fears being forced to accompany her mistress should the planned marriage to Di Kun proceed 27 31 36.
