Lin He captured the Nine-Curve Spirit Ginseng and reunited with Nangong Wan and Qing Yi to search for Longevity Fruits. At a tree guarded by a rare Three-Eyed Demon Beast, Qing Yi suspected it carried Chilie Beast blood.

• Lin He searched Profound Bone's soul, then had the Soul-Whispering Beast consume it.
• Lin He, Zi Ling, and Xin Ruoyin captured the Nine-Curve Spirit Ginseng's rabbit incarnation and recovered its original body.
• Nangong Wan and Qing Yi met Lin He, and Nangong Wan warned him about the dangers of their plan to seize the cauldron.
• Lin He and Qing Yi flew to a Longevity Fruit tree guarded by a Three-Eyed Demon Beast, which Qing Yi thought might possess Chilie Beast blood.

Lin He gathered rare treasures with Qing Yi and Nangong Wan, then sent Zi Ling and Xin Ruoyin back after sealing their memories. He reached the Ice-Fire Path as the remaining cultivators prepared to enter its Lava Path and Mystic Crystal Path.

• Qing Yi identified a demon beast as a Chilie Beast and gave Lin He a Jade Slip describing how to refine its eye; Lin He killed it and took its eye, soul, and corpse.
• Lin He gave Qing Yi two Longevity Fruits, and the three gathered numerous spirit medicines, Longevity Fruits, and rare ironwood, including a Level Seven Ice-Snow Toad's demon core.
• Lin He met Zi Ling and Xin Ruoyin, sealed their memories of Wan'er and himself, and watched them turn back toward the outer hall.
• Lin He reached the canyon and encountered Extreme Yin, Wan Tianming, and the returning Man Huzi among the cultivators waiting for the trial.
• Jin Kui and Jia Chen opened the Lava Path and Mystic Crystal Path; after most cultivators entered, Lin He followed into the Lava Path.

Lin He crossed the Lava Path and Black Desert, surviving waves of fire spirits and Iron Fire Ants before reaching the stone hall. He entered the Treasure Light Pavilion, claimed the Blood-Colored Cloak and a golden mirror, and was transported to the Marvelous Illusion Realm.

• Lin He used his fire-repelling robe and golden attacks to defeat several groups of Fire Crows on the Lava Path.
• Lin He released his Gold Devouring Beetles against the Iron Fire Ants, which devoured the swarms and uncovered a refining crystal inside a crystal pillar.
• Lin He reached the stone hall, where the gathered cultivators learned that the four passages led to treasure pavilions or directly to the next trial.
• Lin He entered the Treasure Light Pavilion, broke through its barrier, and chose the Blood-Colored Cloak and a golden mirror.
• Lin He arrived at the Marvelous Illusion Realm after claiming the two treasures.
