Xiao Hua left the Thunder Control Sect after Gen Qing searched him, and his Thunder Control Transformation revealed that he was the Nascent Soul cultivator Nameless. After hearing the account of Myriad Thunder Valley’s destruction and Xiao Hua’s expulsion, Ganlei Zi questioned why the sect had let him go.
After Xiao Hua was expelled from the Thunder Control Sect, Gen Qing revealed that Xiao Hua was the renowned Nascent Soul Nameless One, shocking Ganlei Zi and the other leaders. Ganlei Zi ordered an urgent search and sent True Person Leixiao to find Xiao Hua and persuade him that the sect still considered it his home.
Ganlei Zi and the Thunder Control Sect elders investigated whether Xiao Hua was Nameless and concluded that he had entered the sect as a Qi Refining disciple before rapidly reaching extraordinary power. After hearing what Xiao Hua had done for Myriad Thunder Valley, they examined Xiang Zhili and asked who else had received Xiao Hua’s help.

Ganlei Zi and the other Thunder Control Sect leaders debated whether Xiao Hua was Wuming and decided to deny the connection unless he returned to the sect. After leaving Thunder Control Sect, Xiao Hua headed toward Lian Kingdom, while Shanshengzi and True Person Du'e changed their plan to enter the sect and soon reunited in astonishment.
After being expelled from the Thunder Control Sect, Xiao Hua fled from Nascent Soul pursuers and traveled by teleportation arrays, planning to find Han Zhu and pursue his own cultivation plans. A communication talisman led him toward Qianhong Mountain, where he began to recover his calm while awaiting Ruo Taohong.
Xiao Hua arrived at Qianhong Mountain to collect demonic artifacts promised in an earlier exchange and was attacked by Xi Wuming, an old acquaintance. Ruo Taohong intervened, and after the misunderstanding over her relationship with Xi Wuming came to light, she offered Xiao Hua more artifacts and a demonic jade slip.
Xiao Hua met Ruo Taohong and Xi Wuming at Qianhong Mountain, where Xi Wuming explained why he had attacked Xiao Hua and apologized. Ruo Taohong described her position as a retainer and offered Xiao Hua the demonic artifacts she owed him.
Xiao Hua traded for the demonic artifacts held by Xi Wuming and learned that Mo Shan also had artifacts and a demonic jade slip to offer. After Mo Shan brought out three storage bags of artifacts, the chapter left Xiao Hua inspecting them.
Xiao Hua traded with Xi Wuming and Mo Shan, then agreed to remain at Qianhong Mountain while Ruo Taohong discussed a mysterious place they had found. In seclusion, he studied Mo Shan’s jade slips, discovering the Violet Jade Eyes art and a Five Elements Rod method that could complement his Pingtian Rod; he left the demonic cultivation technique untried for now.
Xiao Hua discovered that his space could support lightning-based artifact refinement and noticed signs that Jiang Liuer might be awakening. While meeting Ruo Taohong and Xi Wuming to discuss an expedition, he suddenly remembered an urgent matter and said he could not stay.
Xiao Hua declined to join Ruo Taohong and the others in exploring the ancient ruin at Fulin Ridge, then learned from Bai Fei that the Dao Sect had lost the Dao Sword Great Battle and that Xuntian City had fallen. He left for a Teleportation Array, intending to prioritize awakening Jiang Liuer, while keeping the ruin in mind for later.
Xiao Hua traveled through the Mo Ran Black Forest on a secret route toward the Taiqing Sect, unaware that three Nascent Soul cultivators were pursuing him. Near the route’s exit, two Mihuan-clad cultivators moved toward a Qi Cultivation woman who tried to flee past the group ahead.
A Fire Fierce Mountain maidservant sought protection from Liu Yue and Fu Jie while fleeing Huo Chong and Huo Ming through Mo Ran Black Forest’s narrow passage. Liu Yue blocked Huo Chong from seizing her, disturbing the Ink Sand around the passage.
Xiao Hua watched Huo Chong bargain with cultivators over the Water Yuan Ice Marrow while the female cultivator sought help against him. When three late Foundation Establishment cultivators intervened, Huo Chong revealed two Fire Thunderbolts, leaving everyone alarmed.
Xiao Hua was caught in the destruction of the secret passage and the explosion of Huo Chong’s Fire Thunderbolts, but escaped the Mo Ran Black Forest with an unconscious Fire Fierce Mountain cultivator. After reviving her, he was recognized as Xiao Hua, and she reacted with alarm.
Xiao Hua rescued a woman from the Mo Ran Black Forest passage and saw through her shifting claims that she was Miss Luan, who had come to Meng Kingdom on a secret mission. After discovering that the Water Origin Ice Marrow she needed was gone, she left for Fire Fierce Mountain while Xiao Hua continued on.
Xiao Hua encountered Han Zhu emerging from the Mo Ran Black Forest and learned that Han Zhu had reached the Land of Nine Heavens during the Taiqing Sect’s Immortal Ascension Competition. Han Zhu agreed to take Xiao Hua to the Buddhist Sect ruins, where Xiao Hua hoped he could help the unconscious child.
Hanzhu explained Buddhist cosmology, the Western Pure Land, and hell to Xiao Hua as they traveled toward the Buddhist Sect ruins. He warned Xiao Hua that he and six people they would meet each had a different path, and that Xiao Hua would eventually have to choose his own.
Han Zhu explained to Xiao Hua how Buddhist teachings had survived in altered forms within Dao Sect lineages and brought him to a hidden cavern connected to the Buddhist Sect ruins. He revealed that seven other disciples who cultivated Buddhist techniques would join them to enter the ruins, and asked Xiao Hua about his Dharma Body and thought power.
Xiao Hua studied Buddhist formations and learned to produce a faint trace of thought force while Han Zhu prepared a group of Buddhist cultivators to enter the Buddhist Sect ruins. Han Zhu explained why the ruins might still hold undiscovered techniques, and the group expressed their eagerness to go inside.
Han Zhu led Xiao Hua and six other cultivators to the ruins of the Buddhist Sect near Reclining Buddha Ridge, explaining the ridge’s origin and his hopes of discovering how Buddhist fruition was attained. At a hidden basin, he used a Nine-Ringed Vajra Staff to reveal the ruins beneath the earth, where hundreds of ruined temples and compassionate statues appeared in the rain.
Xiao Hua entered the Buddhist Sect ruins with Han Zhu and the other disciples, where they began the trials of the Futuo Path. As Xiao Hua followed them onto the path, a powerful bell rang from the Buddha niche, leaving Han Zhu astonished.
Xiao Hua crossed the Futuo Path by resisting waves of heart demons and gained Han Zhu’s praise for his Buddhist comprehension. Inside the Buddha niche, he discovered a vast chamber and learned that its second trial required everyone to work together.
Han Zhu and the seven disciples opened the gate to Jialan Temple by joining their Buddhist consciousness and power of faith, which the formation returned ninefold. Inside, the disciples rushed for the trial’s offerings, but the scriptures crumbled and Han Zhu urged them to keep looking for better rewards.
