Zhang Xiaohua reunited with Meng and joined the Incense-Passing Cult’s martial arts gathering, where Shuiyunjian and the Heavenly Dragon Sect made their presence known. Di Shitian revealed Meng’s identity as his daughter and the current Saintess, then summoned her back to the Heavenly Dragon Sect and released Zhang Xiaohua from his Cult affiliation.

• Zhang Xiaohua escaped Shuiyunjian with Meng, and the two traveled together toward the Incense-Passing Cult while Abbess Jingyi announced her breakthrough and prepared to welcome the martial world.
• At the gathering, Shuiyunjian attacked Abbess Jingyi, Garuda arrived with the Black Smoke Nest, and Abbess Jingyi welcomed the rival leaders before setting the sword discussions’ prizes and rules.
• Abbess Jingyi revealed that Garuda wanted Zhang Ping'er for her hidden fire-element meridians, while the tournament began and Xia Qing, Huben, Liang Cangxu, and Chen Yang advanced.
• Xia Qing defeated Qin Shiyue, then conceded to Liang Cangxu in the final round, while Chen Yang beat Huben for third place and Zhang Xiaohua arrived with Meng.
• Zhang Xiaohua challenged Chen Yang and defeated him with a Blunt Copper Rod, then handed the Breaking Saber Force and Flowing Water to Abbess Jingyi.

Zhang Xiaohua rescued Zhang Ping'er, reunited with Zhang Xiaohu, and returned to protect his family before helping the Misty Sect defeat the Righteous Path Alliance. He accepted Ji Xiaohua and Zhang Bairen as disciples, while the Zhang family considered leaving Guo Village and Zhang Xiaohu faced difficult choices at Misty Manor.

• Zhang Xiaohua rescued Zhang Ping'er from Garuda and drove off the Heavenly Dragon Sect party with the Wind Pearl.
• Zhang Xiaohua reunited with Zhang Xiaohu, Changge, and Chen Chen, learned of Abbess Jingyi's betrayal, and gave Zhang Xiaohu a jade talisman before going home.
• Zhang Xiaohua reunited with his family, learned of Madam Zhang's death, and watched the bandits attack the Zhang family courtyard while he was hidden away.

The Righteous Path Alliance and Shuiyunjian learned of the upheavals and began pursuing the seven-colored radiance and the Misty Sect.

• Zhang Xiaohu punished Wang Tong for attacking a Mingcui Hall disciple, reunited with Li Jian and the returning Misty Sect elders, and restored order at Misty Manor.
• Zhang Xiaohu visited his family in Guo Village with Changge and Chen Chen, and Zhang Xiaohua strengthened his cultivation with pills and taught him new methods.
• Zhang Xiaohua explored the Forbidden Area, activated the pill-furnace formation, and found the Misty Sect’s Inheritance Pavilion and its hidden treasures.

Zhang Xiaohu consolidated control of the Misty Sect while Zhang Xiaohua reunited with old companions and formed the beginnings of a new sect. Hu Yunyi challenged Zhang Xiaohu’s leadership, but Zhang Xiaohu won the martial contest and revealed the Misty Sect’s inheritance token.

• Abbess Jingyi and Di Shitian discussed the rumored immortal estate near Yao Mountain as sects and martial forces moved toward the mountain.
• Zhang Xiaohu used Zhang Xiaohua’s Soul-Swaying Pills to win over prisoners and Incense-Passing Cult disciples, then reorganized the Misty Sect and appointed its hall leaders.
• Zhang Xiaohua accepted Nie Qianyu, Zhang Ping'er, and Ou Yan as disciples and entrusted Ou Yan with treasure to manage the new Big Dipper Sect.
• Hu Yunyi arrived with two thousand disciples, disputed Zhang Xiaohu’s right to lead, and named Shui Yupeng as his preferred successor.
