At Yaotai Mountain, Xiao Hua sought a National Teacher’s token, but True Lord Huode’s banquet began with an unexplained disappearance of his wine cup.

• Xiao Hua brought Li Xiang and his battered disciples to Black Cloud Ridge, removed the restriction on Li Xiang’s Nascent Soul, and helped treat the injured disciples.
• Xiao Hua explored Black Cloud Ridge, supported Changling’s plans to restore Jiang Kingdom, and learned from Li Xiang how the Yaotai Gathering could draw Daoist cultivators into Confucian politics.

Xiao Hua entered the Yaotai Gathering seeking a National Teacher’s token and became caught in the deadly formations of Yaotai Mountain. After joining forces with Yuanqing, Xiangtian, and Xu Tingzi, he was gravely wounded as cultivators rushed to claim a strange treasure.

• Xiao Hua publicly defeated True Lord Huode, then attended the Trading Meet and agreed to consider working with Ancestor Hongmeng without pledging allegiance.
• Xiao Hua acquired unusual materials, rejected the Star Lord Palace’s invitation, and accepted Chang Yu and Wu Tian as disciples after helping repair flaws in their cultivation methods.
• Kong Hongwu opened the Yaotai Gathering, displayed three exotic treasures, and announced that ten National Teacher’s tokens awaited cultivators inside the mountain.
• Xiao Hua entered the Dragon Gate alone, found weak water and a Weak Water Bead, and searched Yaotai Mountain for a token while battling its dangerous formations.
• Xiao Hua refused True Person Xiangtian’s offer for Little Silver, then joined forces with True Person Yuanqing after Xiangtian’s tiger cat attacked Si Hong.

Xiao Hua survived the imperial formation, gathered sworn followers, and escaped as the formation collapsed. He joined Zhang Daoran and Xunkong Shangren in seeking the National Teacher’s token, while Star Lord Palace turned its attention toward him.

• Xiao Hua revealed his ambush against Jing Mu An, defeated him with the Mountain River Seal and Spirit Severing Primordial Light, and survived Jing Mu An’s self-destruction.
• Xiao Hua killed True Person Xiangtian, rescued Xu Tingzi and the surviving Golden Core cultivators, and took the National Teacher’s token from the jade casket.
• Xiao Hua followed True Person Jingting and True Person Yuanqing to the Human Essence, where he attacked the cultivators restraining Fairy Jing and her demon beast Ying Huo.
• Xiao Hua lost True Person Jingting to the Righteous Qi Pillar, received the Mother-Child Spirit Fruit from Fairy Jing, and entered the imperial formation’s blood-red space to find a way out.
• Xiao Hua defeated True Lord Huode’s allies, forced Ao Zhantian and Shui Mingzi and other cultivators to swear service, and took them into his space as the formation collapsed.
• Xiao Hua escaped the formation through spatial fractures, while True Lord Huode told Kong Hongwu that Xiao Hua had killed Jing Mu An and received a chance to kill him in return for restoring his position.

Xiao Hua endured the Yaotai formations, rescued trapped cultivators, and killed the Star Lords who tried to capture him. He then fought Kong Hongwu and escaped the collapsing formation, while Zhang Daoran and Xunkong Shangren continued through the gathering with no word of Xiao Hua’s survival.

• Zhang Daoran, Xunkong Shangren, and Xiao Hua agreed to cooperate at the dangerous Yaotai Gathering, then defended the cultivators from the formation’s falling stones.
• Xiao Hua used his divine sense to clear a path through the barrage, but stayed behind to rescue those still trapped and cultivate Wind Escape.
• Xiao Hua rescued cultivators and endured the formation’s escalating trials with Bodhi as Taishi Zhanran and Ouyang Jingran entered to capture him.
